“Review (late November stay) “The Level” It is hard to imagine a better hotel. It is also hard to believe there could be other hotels in Alicante that surpass the Meliá Alicante. This stay was in The Level, the more luxurious section of the hotel, and it truly delivers a premium experience. The hotel has everything one could need: excellent service, comfortable and well-appointed rooms, and a very well-trained, professional staff. The restaurant is very good, the reception is efficient, and the different areas of the hotel are clearly defined and well separated, which adds to a sense of calm and order. The location is excellent—within walking distance of virtually anywhere in the city. It is quiet at night, feels safe, and is ideal for resting and enjoying Alicante without stress. I honestly cannot imagine a better hotel in Alicante.”

“Expensive hotel, but worth it as the rooms are modern, the views beautiful (we were on the beach, rather than marina, side), and it includes snacks and drinks pretty much all day long. There was construction work going on, which we were not told about when booking, but it turns out it barely affected our stay (we only lost out on the infinity pool and nice view from the private lounge). We stayed on the 5th floor, which was extremely quiet, perfect. Most of the people who stay there are english retirees, just FYI.”

“We had a fantastic stay at The Level and can’t praise the team enough. Before we even arrived, Silvia had our airport transfers organised with such speed and precision that we briefly wondered if she had a direct line to the pilots. Then, when we decided we fancied a last-minute room upgrade, Daniel handled it so effortlessly that it felt like he had a magic button marked “Make It Happen”. Both of them were brilliant and set the tone for a very relaxed break. Our room was modern, comfortable and came with a cracking view of Postiguet Beach from the balcony — exactly the sort of view that makes you think, “Yes, this was definitely the right choice.” The whole Level experience felt smooth and welcoming, and the location really couldn’t be better with both the beach and marina right on the doorstep. Overall, we had a great time and would happily return. Excellent staff, lovely atmosphere and a stay that felt far too easy… in the best possible way.”

“We had a wonderful stay at The Level at Meliá Alicante and were genuinely impressed by how smoothly everything ran. Before we even arrived, Silvia organised our airport transfers with such efficiency that it felt like she had the whole of Alicante on standby for us. When we requested a last-minute room upgrade, Daniel handled it instantly and with the kind of calm confidence that makes you think he’s seen absolutely everything before breakfast. Great service all round. Our room was comfortable, modern and came with a fantastic balcony view of Postiguet Beach — the sort of view that guarantees you start the day in a good mood. Now, the real surprise: the hotel is going through a major renovation, yet the team somehow managed to keep the entire operation practically invisible. No noise, no disruption, no wandering builders… nothing. The project management going on behind the scenes must be extraordinary. If they can run a renovation this quietly, they could probably rebuild half the marina without anyone noticing. Full credit to the Meliá team for delivering a seamless guest experience despite everything happening in the background. A quick note for any readers: this place is excellent, but our hearts still firmly belong to the Meliá in Madeira — our long-time favourite. Alicante didn’t replace it, but it certainly impressed us in its own right. All in all, a brilliant stay, superb staff, and a Level experience we’d happily repeat.”

“Bueno que puedo decir , que estamos como en nuestra casa , todos sus trabajadores son como nuestra familia , nos dan la bienvenida , nos atienden perfectamente , empezamos con recepcion , todos buenas personas , trabajadoras , que te ayudan en todo lo que necesites , son cariñosos , siempre nos abrazan cuando llegamos ; las camareras que atienden tanto el desayuno , como durante todo el dia , son muy eficientes, cariñosas , siempre estan a la que necesites algo , el desayuno esta genial, y lo que hacen en el momento riquisimo todo , ademas de haber cosas riquisimas , tambien sin gluten disponen , pero hay que decirlo en recepcion para que lo sepan y puedan prepararlo , la hora del vermut , la dulce, la merienda, la hora del los cubatas , etc.... , todo perfecto . “Ein traumhafter Urlaub im The Level. Wir hatten eine Premium Junior Suite The Level. Tolles Frühstück und den ganzen Tag durch gibt es Kleinigkeiten zum Essen und am Abend gute Tapas (17.30-19.00). Die Premium Junior Suite war außergewöhnlich schön, mit zwei Räumen, beide mit Zugang zum Balkon, gute Kaffeemaschine und traumhafte Betten. Wir waren rundum glücklich. “Hemos pasado una semana en The Level – Meliá Alicante y ha sido, sin duda, una de las mejores experiencias que hemos tenido en un Meliá. En cuanto a la oferta gastronómica, al ser clientes The Level y tener Pensión Completa, teníamos la posibilidad de poder comer y cenar en el restaurante Trasluz que ofrece platos de una calidad excepcional, con una variedad de sugerencias de mínimo 5 platos de entrantes, carnes, pescados y arroces de categoría. Las raciones son muy generosas, quizás demasiado, pero la calidad lo compensa con creces. Y respecto al The Level Lounge, simplemente el mejor de todos los que hemos conocido: variedad de comida durante todo el día, actividades exclusivas como showcooking, taller de mojitos y actuaciones en directo. Un plus que eleva aún más la experiencia. En conclusión, Meliá Alicante The Level ha sido un acierto total. Gracias a personas como Victoriano, Pascual, Juan, Gloria y Alessandra hemos sentido una atención cercana y personalizada que nos hará volver sin dudarlo.”

Otro punto sobresaliente ha sido la limpieza: la mejor que hemos vivido en un Meliá. Las habitaciones se hacían nada más salir y siempre quedaban impecables. Por la tarde, volvían para revisar, dejar agua y estirar la cama, cuidando cada detalle. La gastronomía en Trasluz también nos sorprendió: calidad excelente en todos los platos, desde arroces hasta carnes y pescados, aunque con raciones muy abundantes. Aun así, disfrutamos muchísimo probando casi toda la carta. Y en cuanto al The Level Lounge, podemos decir que es el mejor que hemos probado hasta ahora: variedad y comida disponible casi todo el día, showcookings de risotto y almejas, talleres de mojitos y música en directo. Un nivelazo. En resumen, nuestra experiencia ha sido fantástica. El hotel es excelente, pero son personas como Victoriano, Pascual, Juan, Gloria y Alessandra quienes elevan la calidad y hacen que uno quiera volver.”

Parkplätze am Hotel sind ein wenig günstiger wie in den öffentlichen Parkhäuser. Mit etwa 20 € für 24h sollte man rechnen. Das Personal ist gut geschult. Bei Beschwerden oder Mängel wird professionell gehandelt. Einzig der Zimmerservice ist nicht immer auf dem Niveau eines Melia Level. Das liegt aber eher an der Verfügbarkeit des Reinigungspersonals und deren Möglichkeiten.”

“We had a lovely stay in a level, marina view room in the Melia. The room was very comfortable and the staff were exceptional. In particular thanks to Gloria and Rokio in the lounge who took such great care of us and in helping to cater for my food intolerances. It is worth paying for the level service which includes free drinks, tapas, snacks and is a lovely place to retreat to for a rest. The hotel restaurant is very good and staff, particularly Juanjo, are friendly. The restaurant is waiter service and there was a good choice of food included in half board. We have stayed at this hotel before and will have no hesitation in returning.”
