“El hotel es precioso y en general está muy bien cuidado. Por nuestra parte escogimos una habitación the Reserve y merece la pena la piscina y el acceso que te da la categoría. La parte del concierge no merece la pena ni nos dio información ni nos ayudó al final éramos nosotros quiénes teníamos que estar pendientes. Al final Jairo uno de los camareros de la piscina que fue quien nos hizo recomendaciones tanto para dentro del hotel como para fuera y nos ayudó mucho en toda la estancia, si venís al hotel buscarle porque es un gran profesional. Destacar también en la zona the Reserve a Fernando y Erick en el bar de la piscina y a María en la zona de toallas.”

“Un poco escondido pero excelente servisio”

“Quiero compartir mi experiencia en este hotel. Estuvimos hospedados del 6 al 16 de febrero, y fue una experiencia increíble. Los trabajadores del hotel son muy atentos y amables, siempre preocupados por hacer que tu estadía sea lo mejor posible. Hay algunas excepciones, pero nada grave. Me gustaría destacar especialmente el trabajo de Ezequiel y René. Ezequiel es el bartender de la barra de la piscina y René atiende la barra de la playa. Ambos tienen una gran energía y se esfuerzan por hacer que todos los huéspedes disfruten al máximo. Con mi pareja reservamos una cena romántica en la playa, donde nos prepararon una mesa sobre la arena con un mesero exclusivo que nos atendió en todo momento. Fue una experiencia maravillosa, y sin duda esperamos volver al hotel. Cabe mencionar que la mayoría de los trabajadores hablan inglés, ya que, durante nuestra estadía, aproximadamente el 90% de los huéspedes eran de EE.UU. y Canadá. Por lo tanto, si no hablas inglés, puede ser complicado comunicarte con el resto de los huéspedes. El hotel es muy lujoso, se preocupan por todos los detalles.”

“The website and google photos do not do this place justice. The resort is beautiful, so lush with tropical plants, lots of water canals, and updated decor. The staff were all fantastic, and were quick to learn the latest regulars. The food and drinks were good, rooms were pretty, updated, and clean. We had zero problems with this resort and would recommend it to anyone.”

“We booked a last minute trip through Costco Travel based on reviews. It was a great 7 night trip with amazing service, clean and spacious room, and quiet/calm atmosphere. We were able to relax without any major concerns! For anyone wondering about “the reserve” section and if it’s worth it, I would highly recommend it! Overall a great experience at La Perla!”

“I booked a three night stay and it was not long enough. I loved the staff and everything about our stay was wonderful. I will point out a few things to think of before booking. The guests there are very uppity, a bit rude and do not know how to respond to the culture. The have zero flavor, spice or know how to act. The hotel offers many shows from dancers to a full on beach buffet. I cannot get over how wonderful the staff was. Ernesto from Resturante Te Hadar was receptive and provided top notch service. He remembered us and was extremely nice and welcoming. The staff here are so kind, always smiling and just fun to be around. How they handle these rude guests is something I will never understand. The bartender at the Reserve Pool (braces, tall, curly hair) serves THE BEST mojito and pina coloda I have ever tasted. He was quick with helping guests and provided great conversation. The bartender at the Sports Bar is very rude, so beware. Everytime I went for a drink he gave me attitude. The activity people are AMAZING!! They are full of life and brought so much energy to such a dead crowd of people. They were dancing, singing and smiling! I enjoyed them a lot! The buffet is DELICIOUS and they have the best staff working there. Please leave a tip. They work so hard! Thanks to our conciere, every night we had "something" done in our room. We had balloons with raspberry mousse, we had night slippers and best of all we had a trail of red roses from our doorway to our tub. The whole stay was just memorable. Honestly, just beware of people staying there. They are a different kind of people. They stare at you and make you feel uncomfortable. Also, there was a conference of a company called "Channel" that basically took over the hotel. They were beligerant, drunk, cussing profusely and were extremely loud. It really put a damper on our stay dealing with the people from "IOWA." Yes, drinks are free EVERYWHERE! You will never have an empty cup. Oh yes, and we visited Cozamel. The ferry ride was wonderful. Watching the ocean was prestine. Overall, if you stay here, expect to be treated kindly and have an amazing time!”

“On the last night we went to the hibachi. We had Leonardo as our chef and the food he prepared and the entertainment was top notch! Probably the best food I've ever had while traveling.”

“Booked this trip last minute and chose Paradisus based off the positive reviews. I have to agree with them. The staff was so welcoming and worked hard to make sure we were happy. From the staff bringing us drinks to the staff in the dining area asking us if we needed anything or if we are enjoying our stay. The rooms and resort were very clean. It has a nice setup with the kid friendly side and an adult side. My wife and I stayed on the kid side and there are a lot of kids but we didn't mind. I am sure others would so book accordingly. The over all feel of the resort is spa like. They have diffusers in a lot of locations so there is a pleasant smell every where. The restaurants that require reservations had really good food. The buffets were smaller than we have seen but I feel the food was better quality. I prefer quality of the variety of less quality. I would recommend Paradisus for a family or adults only.”

“Un lugar que volvería a visitar”

“Absolute wonderful experience at La Perla. The resort is huge and can be confusing at first, so pay attention in the tour. I absolutely loved the plants, water features, and the whole look of the resort. I decided to upgrade to the Reserve and I feel glad that I did. The pool and service is absolutely wonderful compared to the regular resort. The ONLY qualm I have with the resort is the rocks in water at the beach. The water is divine, but my husband and I both cut our feet on the rocks. Other areas of the beach did not have rocks so I suggest walking a bit. You can walk on foot by turning right at the beach for about 20/30 mins to get to awesome shops and restaurants in town if you want to leave the resort. Overall, I very much recommend this resort very much and recommend paying the extra for the reserve if you can”

“A mi me agrado todo, lo único que siento deberían de mejorar es la comida de los snacks ya que es muy simple y en algunas ocasiones sin sabor.”

“Nuestra experiencia en Paradisus La Perla fue inolvidable. Desde el momento en que llegamos, nos sentimos como en casa. El hotel está impecablemente mantenido, y la limpieza es de primera. Se nota el cuidado en cada detalle. El desayuno fue uno de nuestros momentos favoritos, había mucha variedad y todo estaba delicioso. Además, la cantidad de restaurantes para cenar nos permitió disfrutar de diferentes opciones cada noche, con comida que siempre superó nuestras expectativas. La habitación fue espectacular, amplia, luminosa, impecable y con unas vistas increíbles, perfectas para relajarse y disfrutar del entorno. La cama era extremadamente cómoda, ideal para descansar, y se dormía de maravilla. Cada detalle estaba cuidado para garantizar una estadía placentera. Lo que realmente hizo la diferencia fue el personal. Todos fueron increíblemente cordiales y cálidos. Queremos agradecer especialmente a Eric, Johnny, Angelo, Ernesto y Elvis, que nos atendieron de maravilla, y a las chicas de limpieza, que siempre dejaban detalles en nuestra habitación y la preparaban para que al volver estuviera perfecta. Julieta también merece una mención especial por su amabilidad y ayuda con una situación que tuvimos con nuestra reserva. Y no podemos olvidarnos de los chóferes de Otium, que hicieron que nuestros traslados fueran muy cómodos y relajados. Si pudiéramos nombrar a cada persona del equipo, lo haríamos, porque todos contribuyeron a que esta semana fuera perfecta. ¡Gracias, Paradisus La Perla, por unas vacaciones inolvidables! Sin duda, esperamos volver pronto. Pd, a gerencia o coordinación, les recomiendo para la próxima dar aviso a los huéspedes de que tendrán un evento y no se podrán utilizar parte de las instalaciones o servicios, fue una de las situaciones más incomodas que he tenido que pasar en unas vacaciones, por suerte el personal que hace que funcione el hotel opacó esto y nos hizo pasar una estadía espectacular.”

“Beautiful resort. Plenty of options to dine and indulge in libations. Customer service is amazing, all staff members are attentive and friendly. We celebrated 4 birthdays and pretty much everyone knew from the security to room service. We walked in and walked out beyond satisfied with the service. We shall be returning!”

“Supreme service, they set the bar. The rooms were incredible, and we couldn't have asked for anything better. The location was far enough but not too far from the airport, and you can't beat your own beach.”

“I ate at Lemon Fish in the Paradisus Hotel on 3 different occasions. It was my favorite restaurant in the hotel, although I had a tough time choosing between Tokimeku and Lemon Fish. They are both excellent as is every restaurant in hotel. Rebecca, the manager, has done a tremendous job with the restaurant. She is very down to earth and approachable. I always enjoyed talking to her. On one occasion Carlos was my waiter and on another it was Francisco. Both was very sharp and attentive. I wish this restaurant were in the city where I live because it is absolutely tremendous.”
