This resort is beautiful and has some of the best food anywhere. The beaches are wonderful, the rooms are a delight, the pools are refreshing and the beach is fantastic. But that isn't what makes this resort the best resort you'll find. Oh, and the service. You will want for nothing! But that STILL isn't what makes Paradisus paradise. What makes a true paradise is the people. There are far too many to name, but I'm going to do it anyway. Rigoberto, Alexis and Humberto are wonderful at the reserve pool. Alfredo is a marvel, a hero and a friend at the reserve pool. Henan makes every day and night better at the reserve bar. Eduardo and Jesus are great people and inspire me to be a better person. Elena makes working out fun! Liz makes everything fun (meditation, chocolate, sound therapy...) And Alexa. Alexa is a beautiful soul inside and out. She makes everything better and reminds me that humanity is good. She is family. Thank you all for giving me a wonderful vacation, but then you more for being a family to me.

Alfredo, Humberto, Alexis, and Rigoberto were absolutely amazing at the Reserve pool and we absolutely felt like royalty! Jesus made everyday so peaceful and relaxing, not letting us worry about a thing! Eduardo made our mornings bright with his smiles and joy and Henan made our evenings special and a little crazy as he never let our glasses empty! Alexa makes our souls bright! Mornings with Elena and Liz were full of peace and tranquility. Thank you all for making our experience so special! This experience really is PARADIS-for-US.

Great experience. We were at The Reserve side during our stay, and everyone was amazing. There were restaurants open all day long, from breakfast at 7 to late night caps. Friendly staff, lots of activities to keep you busy both on and off the resort. Don't forget to check out the spa!

I'm really torn about this experience. For one the hotel is very nice, rooms are great and overall food and service are good, but for some reason they decided to host annoying themed pool parties blasting loud music from 9am till 6pm every single day. Selling this as a luxury, adults only experience while having these parties -that by the way not more than 8 guests would participate in- was a major misrepresentation and should be included in the hotel's description. Even in the "quiet" pool area you couldn't escape the loud music. Neither great for party and certainly not for just chilling by the pool. At least the beach was beautiful, quiet and relaxing.
