“Oasis Restaurant at the Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora is a great choice if you’re looking for good food and a pleasant atmosphere. The quality of the dishes is very good—well presented and full of flavor—and the setting makes the experience even more special. The highlight, without a doubt, is the team. The service is friendly, professional, and very attentive. You can really tell there’s strong organization and teamwork, especially thanks to Bea, Erika, and Javi, who ensure everything runs perfectly. Definitely a place worth coming back to.”

“We have been lucky enough to visit this hotel for second time, in a couples trip. It has been a wonderful stay in this paradise which has so much to offer, once you get in, you won’t want to leave. Facilities are superb, we had a great welcome at the Red Level where Leila, Hugo and Lucas took care of all the details of our stay; nothing was too much trouble. Our room was stunning, large and had partial views to the sea, what a joy to be in. Bed is a dream. For me some of the best moments were the peaceful breakfast by the seaside, which we had following a recharging 9am fitness class by the seaside (I forgot the name of my favourite coach, Moroccan lady, what an excellent way to start the day). The variety of pools means you’re spoilt for choice. An adventure to do a couple of laps in the seaside pool. Ernesto and Pablo kept the cocktails coming and we really appreciated their smiles. And in the evening, more treats to come, you can try a different restaurant every day, and what a treat that is, not a single restaurant can be faulted, quality is just superb. For me portion size was too large though, I’d rather smaller portions. Bring anti acid pills! From all restaurants, Duo remains my favourite, with La Terrase closely following. The food and meat we had there was to never forget, and Guacimara and Lorenzo treated us like family. I loved the social activities (tennis, paddel, salsa), great way to interact with other guess and burn some of that lovely food. Anyway so many great staff and so many great places to discover in the hotel, the only downside is that you won’t want to visit Tenerife! Must visit place, and you will want to return for sure.”

Absolut empfehlenswert.”

“I would like to sincerely thank the team at Oasis Restaurant for the excellent experience they provided us. Despite the severe storm that was hitting Tenerife, they showed impeccable professionalism and dedication at all times. A special mention to Bea, Javi, and Erika, who took care of us with warmth, kindness, and great attention to detail. Their attitude and commitment made all the difference and ensured that, even in difficult conditions, we felt well looked after and truly welcome. Without a doubt, an exceptional team that knows how to deliver high-quality service under any circumstances. We will definitely be back!”

We spent four nights and five days at the Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora, and honestly, it was an experience difficult to describe in words. From the moment you arrive at the hotel, you feel like you're entering something special. Just stepping through the entrance, you can sense the luxury, the tranquility, and the attention to detail: the hotel's aroma, the spaciousness of the rooms, the marble, the columns, and the impressive architecture immediately make you think you're in a true five-star hotel. Our room was a standard room, and even so, it surprised us immensely. Spacious, beautiful, meticulously maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The bed deserves special mention: a large, incredibly comfortable mattress, perfect for a good night's sleep. The room was also very quiet, allowing us to sleep wonderfully in an atmosphere of true luxury. The hotel facilities are simply spectacular. The infinity pool overlooking the ocean is a true marvel, the gardens are perfectly maintained and full of beautiful vegetation, the spa is very comprehensive, and the gym is enormous. The entire hotel is impeccably maintained and exudes a constant sense of quality and exclusivity. But if there's one thing that truly sets it apart, it's the staff. The service was exceptional from the very first moment. The entire hotel team is incredibly friendly, approachable, and helpful, always ready to assist you and ensure your stay is perfect. This constant and genuine attention is what truly makes the experience so special. The cuisine also deserves outstanding praise. I work in the restaurant industry, and I can honestly say that this is one of the best hotels where I've ever eaten. The hotel restaurants offer à la carte menus, and everything we tried was top-notch. Furthermore, both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are premium brands, which is much appreciated. During our stay, there was a minor, one-off error (things that can happen anywhere), and while it wasn't the hotel's fault, the way they handled it was absolutely exemplary. From the outset, they demonstrated impressive professionalism and humility in resolving the issue. As a special touch, we were treated to a Teppanyaki dining experience, highly regarded at the hotel, and it was spectacular. The staff's professionalism and the experience itself were incredible. The hotel's ambiance is perfect: tranquil, elegant, family-friendly, and exclusive all at once. It's a place where you can truly disconnect and relax. If I had to compare it to something, I'd say the experience is very similar to that of a five-star Caribbean resort, but in Spain. I would recommend it to everyone, but especially to couples who want to enjoy a few days of luxury, tranquility, and fine dining. We would definitely return without hesitation. It might seem like an expensive hotel, but once you experience it, you understand that every euro is completely justified. Everything it offers, the quality of service, and the level of the facilities make it truly worthwhile. An unforgettable stay.”

“As others have said, this is a really beautiful hotel, which lives up to the photos. The pools are stunning, the main plaza has lovely fountains and our room was very well appointed, with a large balcony. The location really suited us, as a family of four with two young boys, in part because of the direct access to the pedestrianised sea front - it is a short walk to three sheltered bays, and there are several play areas for kids and easy access to the small town of Acalá. It is much calmer than other spots on the coast which are very built up with lots of hotels. As mentioned, our room was great - we had a lounge area where our eldest slept in a fold out bed, a huge bathroom and a large bedroom for us and our baby in a cot. We had a very large balcony which seemed to be double the width of most balconies, overlooking the family pool. We were quite close to the main plaza so had some noise from the evening entertainment and staff using our hallway, but this died down by 10pm most nights. We booked a family room through Jet2 and the room was much larger than we expected per the website photo, which showed two additional single beds in the same room as the main bed. So if you are relying on having a separate lounge like we had then it is probably worth confirming this with your travel agent/the hotel itself. Similarly, we had a small kitchen are with a fridge (mini bar), microwave and some extra glasses, bottle opener etc. Again, this was unexpected, especially given I had emailed the hotel about having a microwave to heat milk for our baby, and the response had been a) that one could be provided at an extra cost and b) this was subject to availability, to be discussed on our arrival. But the microwave was there regardless. So, again, if you're relying on having a microwave then additional confirmation about the room facilities is definitely needed. Many reviews note that the hotel seems understaffed and I would agree with this, especially in the restaurants for ordering coffee at breakfast or drinks in the evening. By 9am every morning there was quite a queue for breakfast. However, I don't think the queue is a staff issue so much as the sheer number of people having breakfast around that time. The staff which are there are clearly working extremely hard to clear and reset tables, and are very friendly. And the food was excellent - really delicious and well presented every day, with a huge range to choose from. We found the booking system for the evening restaurants which aren't the buffet to be odd/ineffective - it's not possible to book online and instead you have to go to a special concierge desk at 10.30am to get a slot. We did this once and it took ages, and we were told there were no slots in L'Olio (the Italian restaurant) for the next few nights but that we would get an email about a provisional slot. No email ever came and we just asked on the door of L'Olio that evening as we could see loads of free tables and we got in very easily. So this system clearly needs a review. Finally, the only real down side for us was that the kids pool wasn't heated - this is the one with the pirate ship and the slides. It was absolutely freezing, which was a real shame as it was one of the reasons that we booked the hotel. Being early March and quite cloudy, the temperature didn't get much above 21 degrees and was often closer to 17/18 degrees, so it was far too cold to go in an unheated pool. The hotel seems to appreciate this, as the family pool is heated, which made it all the more strange why the kids pool wasn't. Unless the kids pool is guaranteed to be heated, we wouldn't go back outside the proper summer heat. Overall a great stay, but improvement is needed on the communication about the facilities and restaurants, and the kids pool should be heated.”

“Very average. The hotel charges 5* prices but the service and quality of food is pretty 3 or 4*. Not terrible but not great either. We stayed in March 2026, so chose it as it said the family and kids pools were heated but unfortunately these were not hot enough and children were freezing in the pool (many guests unhappy about this). Rooms were spacious but not spotless Restaurant food is hit and miss - some very good, some poor quality and not seasoned or cooked well. Buffet restaurant is generally quite poor in terms of food quality. Hotel is very large but even in off peak season struggled to manage service properly - I imagine when it’s full the service gets even worse. Save your money and stay elsewhere”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stayed for one week at Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora as a solo traveler and overall had a very good experience. The room itself was comfortable with a nice view, and housekeeping cleaned it daily which kept everything very tidy. The bed was comfortable and the room was pleasant to stay in throughout the week. One small issue was that housekeeping sometimes entered the room without knocking first, which was a bit surprising and something the hotel could improve. The pools were definitely one of the highlights of the resort. There is a lot of space and they are very well maintained. It didn’t feel extremely overcrowded, but I would still recommend going early in the morning if you want to secure a good sunbed. Breakfast quality was acceptable and had a decent variety to start the day. I didn’t try the other restaurants during my stay, but the bars and drinks I did try were good. The bars are not open 24 hours, but the service and drink quality were solid. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, though there wasn’t one specific staff member who stood out during my stay. Still, the service overall felt professional. The hotel has many facilities available, including pools, spa areas, and other amenities, although I didn’t personally try everything. One highlight for me was Plaza Atlántica, which added a really nice atmosphere to the resort. The location is very relaxing and quiet, making it a good place if you want to disconnect and enjoy a calmer part of Tenerife. A couple of downsides were the strong wind noise in the corridors at times and some noise from children in certain areas, but that’s somewhat expected in a family-friendly resort. Overall, I would recommend this hotel especially for families, as it offers large pools and many facilities. Just note that the spa services are paid separately. Despite a few small issues, it was a pleasant stay and a good place to relax for a week in Tenerife.”
