“Escogimos el hotel por la ubicación , y porque tenia muy buenas reseñas, desde el portero hasta el bartender muy amables ( prepara unos martinis y mojitos espectaculares ), la habitacion organizada todos los dias , aunque la piscina en la terraza es pequeña , tiene unas hermosas vistas y para refrescar esta muy bien, fuimos con desayuno incluido , porque somos de comer fuera, pero nos encanto , el trato de los camareros 10/10, lo bueno de todo es que reciben mascotas......sin dudas volveremos porque nos quedaron sitios por visitar.”

I arrived around five in the afternoon and was greeted immediately by the valet, who called ahead to reception to let them know I was on my way — by name. A glass of champagne while I checked in set the tone for the rest of the stay.
The room itself was clean, spacious, and had a decent view — nothing to complain about. But the real find was downstairs, at the hotel bar, where I met a bartender named Oscar.
I watched him build a martini like I was watching someone solve a puzzle I didn't know had this many moves. I'm a snob about martinis — I have opinions — and this was the best one I've ever had. He skipped the olive, which threw me for a second, and instead cut a curl of lemon peel and laid it in the glass like he was finishing a painting. We ended up talking for two hours: his wife, his one-year-old daughter, life in Sevilla versus Málaga where he used to live, salaries, retirement, the slow creep of adult worries that show up once you have a family depending on you. He asked about the States, I asked about here.
Somewhere in there I was reminded that intelligence is never just one thing — a person can be a genius in exactly one room of their life and perfectly ordinary everywhere else, and there's nothing wrong with that. Oscar's room is this one, behind the bar, and he owns it completely. He's got the same gift as the bartenders in the movies — Sascha in Casablanca, Lloyd in The Shining, Arthur in Passengers — the ones who make a stranger feel like a regular within minutes. I got proof of it firsthand: a couple walked in not long after and the woman pulled out her phone to show him a photo of himself, from years earlier, the last time they'd been in town. They ordered two mojitos that arrived looking like something built rather than poured — flowers, mint, an actual composition. Naturally, I ordered one too. It didn't disappoint.
Breakfast was the standout, though. A wide variety of really good food, the best poached egg I've had, and all included in the room price. And the location couldn't be better — centered right in the city, everything within about ten minutes on foot. No car needed the entire stay.
What tied the whole stay together, though, was the staff. Every single person I interacted with — valet, reception, bar, breakfast service — worked in sync with each other, and every one of them made me feel like an important guest, not just another name on a list.”
