“Nuestra estancia fue del 23 al 27 de diciembre 2025. El hotel está bastante bien, el buffet muy bueno, las zonas comunes muy espaciosas y luminosas y el personal muy atento. Solo hay una cosa que no me gustó y es que el día de Nochebuena el buffet era de 19,00 a 21,00 y al terminar de cenar ya no hubo nada, sin saber que hacer, Al personal le dieron vacaciones y ni bar ni animación ni posibilidad de nada eso sí, habilitaron una habitación con cava y turrón y ya. Un poco desangelado para un hotel de 4 estrellas”

“The hotel is extremely stylish and spotless—everything literally shines. Mirrors everywhere, which makes it perfect for checking yourself and taking photos. There’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel that takes you straight to the city center, which is a huge plus. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, always answering questions with a smile. Our room was very clean and had a beautiful sea view, and it was fully equipped with everything we needed. The hotel courtyard is so stunning that you could easily spend an entire day there just relaxing. It opens directly toward the beach, and right across from the entrance there’s a restaurant we absolutely love, serving excellent seafood. However, the breakfast and bar food were disappointing. The breakfast buffet wasn’t appealing to us, and most of the food was cold—especially noticeable since our previous hotel had a very similar buffet but served genuinely hot meals. We also tried the bar food, which was slightly cold and overly salty. Unfortunately, there aren’t many good restaurant options around the hotel. Aside from the one we mentioned, the others we tried were not impressive at all—and that favorite restaurant only serves lunch. If you have a car and can get to the city center or the main beach area, you’ll find much better dining options there.”

“This is a review for a December stay. Pros: very pleasant staff, great bar area and light bites, close to airport and bus direct to Málaga literally outside. Cons: rooms were tired (but some under renovation while staying), the cleaning staff didn't top up the coffee tea etc, the room heating didn't work and maintenance were unavailable to repair, which did make the room cold overnight.”

“We had a lovely stay at Sol Guadalmar Hotel. The hotel is very good, with a nice restaurant and a truly serene, beautiful location. As we visited in December, the indoor and outdoor pools were not available, but overall the stay was still very pleasant. What really made our stay special was Hugo, the kids’ entertainer. He was outstanding organising creative activities like drawing, clay, slime, and football during the day, and a fun kids’ disco in the evenings. My 7year old daughter did not want to leave. Even when she was the only child on one occasion, Hugo’s enthusiasm never dropped. A tremendous job, Hugo is a real asset to the hotel!”

“Stayed with my son in December. The welcome was perfect and every member of staff we encountered was helpful and charming. The views were beautiful, and the area peaceful. Be aware that there are not many bars or restaurants nearby, but that suited us well. There is an excellent bus service into central Malaga from right outside the hotel.”

“Tuve una estancia fantástica en el Hotel Sol. La ubicación es simplemente inmejorable: justo frente al mar, con una playa muy limpia y a solo unos diez metros del agua. Tenía una habitación con vistas directas al mar, y ver el amanecer cada mañana desde la cama fue realmente impresionante. La zona es muy tranquila porque el hotel no está en pleno centro, pero aun así está muy bien conectado. En coche se llega al centro en 10–15 minutos. Es la combinación perfecta entre tranquilidad y buena accesibilidad. El personal del hotel es increíblemente amable. Quiero destacar especialmente a Julian y Er Farli aka Toni del área del desayuno, que cada mañana fueron súper atentos y simpáticos. El resto del equipo – incluida la jefa – también fue siempre muy amable y profesional. Las habitaciones estaban muy limpias y el buffet de desayuno era realmente muy bueno y variado. El gimnasio también está muy bien equipado, lo cual es un gran punto a favor. Para mí está claro: sin duda volvería.”
