“Fantastic hotel in a great location with wonderful views from our huge balcony . Our room was huge and spotlessly clean, the weather was mostly wet and windy but that's nobody's fault! We would certainly return here and we hired a car through the hotel so we could explore the island.”

“We stayed at Melia Madeira for 5 nights, celebrating a special birthday. There were 4 families and the hotel staff upgraded all of the rooms so we could all be together. The rooms were amazing, full apartments with kitchens and an amazing view. I was thrilled that my family was able to experience that level of accommodation and service. They looked after every detail of our stay. The breakfast provided is amazing. We looked forward to it every day. All the staff in the hotel are kind and attentive. Everything about our stay was 5 star! Thank you Melia Madeira for making our stay so memorable!”

“Dropped in at the Meliá just to have a good look round,enjoy a drink and do a bit of sunbathing.A real modern hotel,great pool and a lovely terrace bar.The lady serving was great,friendly and welcoming.The Meliá in Alicante was excellent and so is this,would love to stay.This area just outside Funchal is quite hilly so you have to be good on your feet.”

“Hotel i obsługa na bardzo wysokim poziomie. Bardzo czysto, cicho, wyposażenie pierwszorzędne. Bardzo przestronna łazienka z wszelkimi możliwymi udogodnieniami. Ogromny wybór urozmaiconych potraw /korzystaliśmy tylko ze śniadań/. Codziennie muzyka na żywo, słodkie upominki od hotelu, miły upominek na pożegnanie, jestem naprawdę zachwycona pobytem.”

“It’s a good but a bit outdated hotel. Rooms are very specious with the views over the ocean. In this regard they’re super great. Our room had some sewage smell in the morning which was annoying and they couldn’t fix it. I guess it’s not okay if you think about the price they charge. Breakfast is okay but seems to have too little choice for us. Definitely not a 5* breakfast.”

“Končí nám pobyt v hotelu v kterém jsme byli spokojeni a vřele ho můžeme doporučit.Nejedná se o úplně 5 hviezdičkový standardní hotel je už trošku starší.Ale určitě nám to nevadilo.Personal na recepci perfektní, úklid pokoje taky.V ceně pobytu máte vnitřní vyhřívaný bazén s vířivkou i venkovní bazén.Bonusem je perfektní poloha hotelu kde je spousta obchodů a restaurací.Nad hotelem po schodech je obchod Pingo který nabízí širokou škálu potravin i možnost bufetoveho jídla za velmi slušnou cenu.Pod hotelem nádherná promenáda podél oceánu.Hotel určitě doporučuji a rádi se sem při další návštěvě Madeiry vrátíme, děkujeme.”

“Zum Abschluss unserer Madeira Rundreise sind wir im Melia Hotel für 3 Tage gewesen. Das Frühstück Buffet wurde in den letzten Jahren deutlich verbessert.”

“The hotel has large rooms with a good sized terrace. There are views of the water from many rooms. There is a very good breakfast with an extensive choice of items. There is a large fitness center which has a lot of equipment. The pool is also large. Many sculptures and other art decorate the hotel. The only complaints are the shower has a partial glass barrier which doesn't contain the water well. The bathroom floor got flooded. Also they are too eager to clear the tables at breakfast. I got a bowl of cereal with nuts, fruit and yogurt. I put it on the table and went to get a cappuccino and when I returned it was gone. The location is far from the main sights located in the Old Town. However it's in the Lido area where most tourists go. Nearby is a nice promenade along the water. There are many restaurants nearby. We particularly liked Restaurant PVP - Pão, Vinho e Petiscos (Bread, Wine & Snacks).”

“Wir haben eine Woche im Melia Mare Madeira verbracht und waren super zufrieden. Die Leute waren allen sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Unsere Suit war top (einzig das mit dem Fernsehprogramm ist für deutschsprachige Gäste wirklich nicht so gut weil praktisch keine Sender verfügbar sind) Dafür hat für uns alles andere top gepasst. All die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten, wir Schokoladen, Früchte, Wasser usw. haben wir sehr geschätzt und generell war der Zimmerservice sehr gründlich und nett. Das Morgenbuffet war sehr umfangreich und lecker. Die Tiefgarage war ebenfalls super praktisch und sonst hat es rund um das Hotel genügend Parkplätze. Wenn wir wieder nach Madeira reisen werden wir gerne wieder kommen. Für meine Ansprüche eine ganz klare Empfehlung! Vielen Dank und herzliche Grüsse 👋”
