“We've been there twice already and it's really nice. It's clean, has a nice pool and enough sun beds. The breakfast holds everything, that you actually need, from fresh bread that you can toast as you desire, different toppings for the bread, such as ham, turkey breast, different cheeses, jelly, honey etc. There is also fresh fruit and vegetables, granola, jogurt, milk. They have sweet things such as croissants etc. There are also scrambled eggs and bacon, sausages etc. They also do sunny-side up eggs upon request. You can have breakfast at the beautiful terrace near the pool or on the terrace by the street. The rooms are spacious and clean. Also, the maids are very nice and make up the rooms very tidily. It may not be directly at the beachfront, but it's only a 3 minute walk to the beach (which is very very nice) - therefore I wouldn't deduct a star from my rating as this is not something I require - being directly at the beach - especially when it's that close by. Next to the hotel is a small SPAR market which has many things such as beverages, fruit, snacks and groceries in general. The hotel is definitely a good deal price/performance wise. The rooms also have nice balconies where you can have a good glass of wine while watching the pool which is nicely illuminated at night. We can recoomend this hotel and would always come back. The area in general is lovely too. Many Bars, Cafes, Restaurants are close by. Also there is kind of a playground-ish funfair park next to the hotel where kids can ride small cars and stuff. Cala D'or is a beautiful place with nice coves, beaches. Its not as "party like" as Palma might be, but that's exactely what we were looking for. Palma is not that far, and with a rental car, you can explore many things. Total recommendation. We've been twice and will be coming back surely.”

“Good location within walking distance of Cala d'Or. We stayed in a self catering apartment here so cannot comment on the rest of the rooms or the food, although breakfast always sounded busy! The apartment was spacious and clean and had basic amenities, a couple of minor gripes are that the only prep space for food is the table, there is no counter top space. Another minor annoyance is that their is no freezer, not major but annoying if you want to bring so icecreams or ice cubes!! We only had the maids in a couple of times (mainly to empty the tiny bin!) and they did a wonderful job of keeping the apartment clean and making the beds.”

“Had lovely holiday staff are so helpful more so when my husband took bad and they called doctor he was taking away to hospital but home next day .. but do please check the small print on insurance documents please .. we received a lovely note from all the staff wishing my husband well thank you so kind meant a lot as he was very poorly .. the only down side was red hot days pool bar Needs to stay open longer nice to sit chat after sitting in the sun snd lovely meeting area when going out in the evening beautiful clean apartments … thank you to all the staff”

“I had a great week on my own at Sol Cala d'Or Apartamentos. I loved my studio apartment on the fifth floor with its homely arrangement and fantastic view. Everything I needed was there. The staff were friendly and helpful, sorting out the difficulties over my transfer, and encouraging me with my pitiful Spanish. The pool area was spotlessly clean and well attended. The apartments are centrally situated for the townl and the various small beaches.”

“Really lovely clean rooms, very friendly staff. Central to all the major bars and restaurants which are all in walking distance. Great breakfast selection. Will be definitely coming back next year !”

“Excellent hotel, immaculately cleaned. Very nice rooms but the showers are very poor with the fact there is no water pressure. Bar/pool bar closes at 17.00 which is poor otherwise everything was good apart from we asked for a late check out 14.00 instead of 12.00 and told no, too busy but yet our room still hadn't been cleaned by 14.00 when we left”

“Dit apartement is in 1 woord geweldig. Mooie (bad) kamers, super schoon. Om de 3 dagen wordt alles schoon gemaakt, beddengoed verschoont en badlakens ververst. Mooi zwembad met security. Een groot podium met iedere avond goede live muziek, o.a. Michael Jackson, lijkt sprekend, zowel dans, zang als uiterlijk. En vele andere. Goede eettent op het terras, voor zowel ontbijt, lunch als diner maar ook gewoon om er gezellig te zitten met een drankje. Dit apartement is een enorme aanrader !!”

“Ideale plek, 3 minuten van 't strand en 't centrum. Prima zwembad. Service zou om de dag de kamers doen en de handdoeken verversen, die hebben we nu zelf moeten halen. Vriendelijk personeel en lekker ontbijt.”

“Location was perfect close to everything, good atmosphere at the apartment complex & felt safe, the apartment itself was a decent size but we had a tiny stairs to get up into our apartment which was very awkward if your tall. Water pressure was horrendous no water at times to have a shower or wash teeth. Beds were very uncomfortable. Surprised on arrival we had to pay a tourist tax and also pay to use the safe but got €5 back off initial price at checkout. Bit of a bummer pool bar closed at 17.00. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food at pool bar was good.”

“Fabulous place. Clean and tidy. Decent size pool and lots of sunbeds (no battles first thing on the morning). The staff working on the bar were fab. They make a great frozen margarita. Very close to the beach and a short walk away to all the bars and restaurants. Truly had no issues for the whole time I was there. Would both recommend and stay there again.”
