Nuestra experiencia en Sol Arona Tenerife ha sido de esas que se quedan para siempre en el corazón, y todo gracias a las personas que forman este lugar tan especial. Quiero empezar por el equipo de recepción: Regina y Selena y Fiorela, porque lo vuestro es pura magia. No solo atendéis, cuidáis. No solo informáis, transmitís cercanía y cariño en cada gesto y en cada palabra. Habéis hecho que nos sintamos importantes y especiales en todo momento, y eso no se olvida. Al equipo de animación: Efrén y Álvaro y Janire y Dani y Laura y Xavi… gracias por llenar de vida y de alegría cada día, y por ese cumpleaños tan increíble que preparasteis a mi hijo. Fue un momento lleno de emoción y de felicidad que se quedará con nosotros para siempre. A Gema, en el snack bar, gracias por tu trato tan cercano y por hacer que cada momento fuera aún más agradable, siempre con una sonrisa y con esa forma tan bonita de atender. Y al equipo del restaurante, gracias por acompañarnos cada día con vuestra atención y por crear ese ambiente tan acogedor donde todo se disfruta más. “I had a great stay at Sol Arona. The recent refurbishment has made everything look fresh, modern, and very clean. The staff are all friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the experience. The cleaners in particular are brilliant—always doing a fantastic job and just as friendly. The hotel has a big pool as well as a kids’ pool with a slide, plus indoor and outdoor play areas which are great for families. Breakfast is hot and well stocked, with everything kept topped up, and the evening shows are a nice touch for entertainment. They can also order taxis to the hotel, which arrive within minutes—very convenient. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I’d happily return.”

“We chose a hotel that offered the best location (close to the sea and restaurants with a shop, but not so close that we could hear the discos). A huge plus was the size of the room and the lovely views. The food was typical of budget hotels, so that was fine. Convenient car park with plenty of spaces. The only negative was the shower in the room – the drain was poorly designed, so the water drained very slowly, and we had to take breaks while showering.”

“Fueron unas vacaciones Fantásticas, un equipo humano increíble, desde la llegada hasta la salida. También a todos los camareros, muy educados, amables y serviciales y sin olvidar a las chicas de Recepción, por hacer las cosas fáciles. Un Hotel que acaba de salir de una gran reforma y a quedado de 10. Increíble. Habitaciones bonitas y muy bien decoradas con un toque retro. Un hall increíble esos colores pasteles que todo encaja a la perfección. Un comedor muy iluminado y amplio, diferentes tipos de mesas (las redondas son un puntazo)siguiendo la línea de todo el hotel carácter retro y divertido utilizando muy bien los espacios, colores e iluminación. Zonas exteriores muy equipadas para todos los huéspedes, el parque infantil y la cabaña para estrenar. Utilizando la madera como material principal todo combinado con la vegetación (plantas y árboles) que compone el hotel. Y dos piscinas, una grande con forma irregular muy adecuada a las dimensiones del hotel y otra pequeña siguiendo una forma irregular y con dos toboganes de agua que hacen de ella un espacio divertido para no salir de ella en todo el día. Zona de solárium. Gym. Lavandería…. Desde mi experiencia con respecto a otros hoteles en los que me he alojado de la cadena es que se puede mejorar la variedad del catering y que se hecho de menos cocina en vivo (plancha tanto para pescado como carne al igual). Pero de verdad si buscan tranquilidad, un ambiente fantástico y un chute de energía. Este hotel lo reúne todo.”

“Nos quedamos 5 días en este hotel y, lo más destacable fue Rosa, la camarera de piso. Ella fue muy amable, todos los días, y nos ayudó con la cama de matrimonio con la que tuvimos problemas la primera noche. El equipo de Recepción, fueron muy amigables. No disfrutamos mucho dentro del hotel, pero es muy bonito y limpio. Las vistas son bonitas, también. La ubicación, es perfecta. El único inconveniente sería que, las opciones de desayuno, no son tan variadas. La mayoría de las opciones son dulces y pocas proteínas”

“We stayed here, we actually thought we were going to the other Sol Tenerife but hey ho. It’s not a bad place with big rooms/suites. Food ain’t bad, staff rude on the whole. Swimmingpool crap so go use the beach and sea. No aircon.”

“I will try to do as complete and fair of a review as possible to give future customers a rough idea of what to expect. The rooms - for the most part, the room was fairly clean when we first entered, just a few hairs in the bathroom. We booked a room with a double bed but unfortunately got two singles. They are simple and firm firm. The cleaners had left the breaks off so we had to secure the beds ourselves. The rooms contain some hanging storage and a few drawers. The bathroom was a modern and stylish design, unfortunately we had a broken tile where i imagine mould will grow behind. The water from the shower is massively chlorinated, which makes sense as it is the dryer part of the island. The living room had a small fridge where you could keep 5 bottles of water. A small safe, german and english tv, an AC unit and a balcony. You have good mountain views and a small glimpse of the sea on the left side. With a small hanger to dry swimware. The cleaners did come and give us new towels and sheets on one occasion. The elevators are small but 4 are provided. Breakfast - The dining area provides a lot of space to sit, in and outside. For the breakfast there is a lot of option. The fruit was nice and the breads and pastries also also. However the meat was all very bland bland. Of course as it does not have much livestock on the island, everything must be imported, that reflects on the flavour and quality of the sausages, wet hams and chicken slices. Along with the beans that had little flavour and relatively hard. So the 'english' breakfast was not an enjoyable choice. The fruit juice is a highly concentrated triple strength apple, orange and multivitamin. So i recommend watering it down with some sparkling water provided. The staff, at the entrance were very helpful and nice, breakfast area especially. Although behind your back they will make insult of you as they think you speak no spanish. Drinks - the mojito we had was poorly made and the cocktails are all pre mixed. On their menu they show a list of hand mixed ingredients which is actually not provided. Stay away from them and have the beer. €9 for a small aperol or €4 for a beer. When we said our drink was contaminated or the mix had gone off they turned their nose up and shewed us on, very disturbing customer service. A real downside for us after a decent experience. Pool- the pool area has a fair amount of sunbeds, a 'bar' a medium and small sized pool, palm trees and it is supposedly heated. Utilities- they have a small gym in the basement, 2 uneven pool tables for €2 a round, a ping pong table and every day a new activity and in the evenings a singer or band. Parking was free when we went and they had plenty of spaces left over, unfortunately they will begin charging for parking now. I believe there are around 10 free spaces down the road. The location - a 9 minute walk to the beach, 4 minutes to a supermarket and 4 minutes to a late night shop. A 25 minutes to the main hub of beaches and life. Driving here from the south airport is easy. Overall i had a decent time here. The design and style is now modernised and clean, on the inside anyway, making for a comfortable stay, although i had to adjust to a cheaper firmer mattress with an unsealed blanked. The location was good, the staff were okay except for one barman. The food had great options just not great quality and bare in mind that February is a bit windy there.”

“It was our first time to Tenerife and this hotel did not disappoint! The staff were always very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, very nicely decorated all throughout the hotel. The swimming pool has a vintage vibe about it that I loved! The food was always tasty, some of the best buffet food I’ve ever had. I absolutely love how the bus stop outside accommodated most of the day trips around the island, it was so convenient and a happy surprise. Overall I was so pleased with my choice in this hotel. I would definitely consider staying again if I come back to Tenerife.”

“Mi pareja y yo hemos disfrutado del hotel durante 7 días. Es un hotel reformado y con buenas vistas. Quería remarcar la limpieza excelente de las habitaciones. Pero sin duda es destacable la atención del personal de restauración por su amabilidad y servicio en concreto de Marlon y Yerko. Nos hemos sentido muy acogidos. En cuanto al buffet, hay gran variedad de comida. El primer día no pudimos llegar a la cena por el horario del vuelo, y nos dejaron en la habitación tanto comida como bebida. Además, cada día ofrecen a partir de las 21h música en directo en la zona del lobby, lo cual ameniza la noche. En relación calidad - precio, está muy bien. Sin duda, si quieres una estancia agradable lo recomiendo.”

“Durante nuestra estancia de 7 días en Meliá Sol Tenerife, queremos destacar especialmente el excelente trato recibido por parte de Marlon. Desde el primer momento se mostró cercano, amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar, haciendo que nuestra experiencia fuese mucho más agradable. Sin duda, los días en los que él no estaba se notaba su ausencia, ya que su atención marca la diferencia y aporta un valor añadido al servicio del hotel. No obstante, creemos que hay algunos aspectos que deberían mejorar para estar a la altura de la categoría de un Meliá. En concreto, la calidad y presentación de la comida no siempre fue la esperada. El primer día, por ejemplo, había un salmón cuya apariencia no invitaba a consumirlo, lo cual genera desconfianza en los huéspedes. Además, consideramos muy importante que se incluyan carteles identificativos en los alimentos, indicando claramente qué es cada plato y especificando los posibles alérgenos. Esto es especialmente necesario en productos como la leche y otros alimentos básicos, ya que actualmente no están etiquetados y el cliente se ve obligado a adivinar lo que está consumiendo, lo cual no es adecuado ni seguro. En resumen, nuestra experiencia ha sido positiva gracias a profesionales como Marlon, cuya amabilidad y atención merecen un reconocimiento especial. Con algunas mejoras en la restauración y en la información alimentaria, el hotel podría ofrecer una experiencia acorde a su nivel.”

“Spędziliśmy tu z rodziną świetny tydzień. Hotel urządzony w stylu Japandi napewno uspokoi każdy najbardziej skołatany umysł. Świetna lokalizacja 20 min od lotniska. 5 minut od plaż. Cisza spokój. Mieszkaliśmy na 5- tym piętrze. Pokój był czysty i zadbany. Największy plus tego hotelu to animatorzy. Nasze córki praktycznie nie chciały stąd wychodzić. Daniella, Alvaro i Frank są tu poprostu najlepsi. Dzieciaki zachwycone, a i dla rodziców jest cały program. Codziennie coś innego. Joga, zumba, pilates do tego testowanie likierów i lekcje robienia baraquito. To wszytko tylko kilka aktywności. Codziennie wieczorem występy na żywo naprawdę utalentowanych artystów. Skorzystaliśmy ze śniadań i obiadów i to był strzał w dziesiątkę. Codziennie inne pyszności na obiedzie i desery w których polecam przede wszystkim sernik. Cukierniczka robi świetną robotę. Szkoda wyjeżdżać. Polecamy w 100%”

“Abbiamo soggiornato da loro dal 13 al 16 febbraio, a parte qualche piccolo problema di luce e acqua all’inizio (ma non per colpa loro, ma problema generale) per il resto ci siamo trovate benissimo, avevamo una camera al 15esimo piano, molto pulita, nuova e si vedeva perché era tutto impeccabile, la vista magnifica oceano e soprattutto la cordialità alla reception, sicuramente ci tornerò e sarà un hotel di fiducia dove soggiornerò ogni volta che tornerò a Tenerife.”
