Fui a un Day Pass. En resumen o la sensación que me quedó. Tratándose de un hotel de 5*, estuvo bien todo pero falto ese punto que diferencia a un hotel de esta categoría. El personal amable pero luego la sensación general es que no parecía un hotel de este nivel.

I would like to give this 4.5 stars out of 5. Firstly the negatives then I'll end it on the positives. For a 5 star resort I completely assumed from staying at other 4 star resorts coming with a dressing gown as standard in the room this wasn't the case here at the Melia Jardines del Teide it would have certainly boosted our experience. There were a few days where we were given towels with holes and threads hanging off of them again in a 5 star hotel I would have expected better. We stayed for 7 nights and 6 of those seven nights I had to get rid of crickets in our room, harmless little guys and I can imagine that this must be tough for the hotel to manage so this is only a small can do better comment. The bacon at the breakfast every morning was sub standard definitely can be better way too fatty and the sausages two of our mornings were undercooked (pink in the center) Positives..... The first impression when we arrived and this was helped that we arrived at night, the service from all of the staff couldn't have been better. The bell boy's were great assisted us if quite a number of ways. The hotel facilities from the pool, health and wellness and daily exercises with Layla were great and was particularly nice all of the other guest joining and supporting each other no matter the language barrier, loved this. I have visited other hotels and there was no community vibe like you get here at the Melia Jardines del Teide, we had a great laugh attempting to run along the water carpet that Layla had organised and when my missus managed to run to the very end and the full pool area all clapping and supporting her was really great to see. The views from the hotel are spectacular and really chilled atmosphere. The only Improvement that could be easily sorted is a little music at the pool but no biggie I just could see it wasn't just us appreciating when Layla had left her music behind for a bit and multiple families and couples were liking the music. Breakfast was nice enough but we began to get fed up with the same thing every day, but that is more on us for not changing it up having cereal one day, sweet another day and savoury the next day or something may have helped that. We got lunch at the restaurant situated next to the main pool and it was tasty again great views and a nice chilled environment. I think if the breakfast food was tidied up a little, robes/dressing gowns for the rooms and fresh towels without holes and threads this would have definitely been given 5 star. I loved the location, the service and staff, the rooms were nice and spacious with great air-conditioning and comfortable beds the sun loungers at the pool were the comfiest I have ever had and the pool was absolutely perfect. Is situated on a bit of a hill to get back from a day out is a sweat fest but that's why the hotel had its spectacular views so you can only have it one way or the other so just thought I'd nite it for those that are going to book or stay here. On that note, I definitely would recommend staying here great staff, great facilities.

Hotel grande y encantador la habitacion era muy amplia y con vistas a la piscina, el personal muy amable y atento. Destacar el desayuno muy completo y variado, tambien cogimos media pension y se agradece que cada noche fuera un menu distinto con muchos platos para no repetir. La piscina es una maravilla y si añades que tiene una barra para pedir copas, ya no sales de ella, por poner un pero, en toda la zona de tumbonas todos los dias habias vasos y copas por recoger.

Simplemente genial! Y la amabilidad del personal de 10.

Increíble desde el primer momento que llegamos al hotel, el trato del personal es espectacular, las instalaciones del hotel muy buenas, las habitaciones muy bonitas y cómodas, pero si me tengo que quedar con algo es con el trato de los trabajadores como Jose, Johan, Angelica, Laura, Houda y muchos más que hicieron que la estancia fuera de 10, con ganas de volver!
