“We have just returned from our second stay at Sol Barbados and we will 100% be returning next April as an annual trip! I cannot speak highly enough of the kids entertainment team. A special shout out to Sophia, Ana and Dani! A huge reason why we returned to this year was because our kids loved their stay so much last year. The pools are fantastic, albeit they open late 11am and close early 5pm during April period. There is a lovely selection of food I'm not sure why there are such negative reviews as there is quite a variety of food even for my fussy 4 year old. We had a lovely welcome note upon arrival along with a selection of refreshments, we also had a beautiful sea view room and we often went to the beach as it is a short walk away. I personally done the fitness classes that are held daily and throughly enjoyed them. Thank you Nacho and Christian! Sol barbados definitely deserves a 5 star review in my opinion and we look forward to returning next year!”

“Hemos pasado el fin de semana en el hotel con nuestras hijas de 4 y 8 años. El hotel es ideal para familias. “The WiFi did not work for most of our stay, which was very frustrating—especially when travelling with children and needing access for entertainment, planning activities, and staying in touch. We reported the issue, but it was not resolved during our holiday. On a positive note, the hotel is quite child-friendly.”

“What a great hotel the staff are amazing with the kids and so many activities for the kids to do. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and lots of local shops. The food is different every try and the deserts are amazing. There is always something to eat. All inclusive drinks are available all day and not sure when they stop. I would definitely tell people to choose this hotel. It also has WiFi!!!”

“A really nice hotel and very clean! Downside the lifts were an absolute nightmare waiting for ages. Lifeguards were very rude , my partner did complain about this as they wouldn’t open the other gate to the ramp when we had a pram. Pools are also freezing cold!! Had to take our toddler out many times as she was shivering. The buffet was good but seemed to have to same food on. When it opened at 6.30 I’ve never seen anything like it very very busy! People fighting over the desserts and children shoving fingers in the ice cream and licking the scoops. ( we did eat out most evenings due to the same food) But overall a lovely hotel and not far from the beach!”

“I have just come back from a 4 night stay at the Sol Barbados with my teenage daughter.  I would say that this is definitely a hotel for families with young children and not for couples or groups of adults.”
