“Parent of a 5 and 8 year old mom review for if you are considering booking- (we visited non-peak season in October, so keep that in mind)
1. The rooms are kept very clean. Cleaned once a day then a turn down service at night.
2. There are tons of towels and we used the pool towels when we went on excursions, no problem.
3. There is a gift shop at the hotel that you can get sunscreen and bug spray but it is EXPENSIVE. Either bring yours OR grab a taxi and go down to a market and buy. If you plan to to swimming with turtles or Xcaret park, bring reef friendly mineral sunscreen.
4. The pools were nice and we were able to get spaces next to them. I could see during peak season this being harder to do. For us traveling this time of year Family Concierge was not worth it because everything is accessible, but I could see that being a different story during busy seasons.
5. The food is okay. The buffet is accessible whenever but the booking system for dinners was a bit of a mess, but we figured it out in a day or two. They have kid friendly options at all family restaurants, but none of the food is mind blowing, so if youre a real foodie with kids and are not going to the adult only restaurants plan to be fed and its fine, but nothing amazing.
6. The kids club seemed great. Our kids did not do much with them, but they are well organized and I would have felt safe leaving them. There's one for 4 under and one for 5 to 11. They will even take them to the pool or for a buffet meal if you want to leave them during those times.
7. The bugs this time of year are bad. We were using a lot of spray and still got a few mosquito bites, maybe worse this time of year because it's a bit more wet.
8. The hotel has lots of raccoons, cats and coatis they cruise around trying to share lunch with you and are very used to humans. The kids just loved watching them and were for our furry- friend loving family a real bonus.
9. Location is nice. You kind of feel when you drive in "urm i think this part of town isnt great " but it feels very safe in the resort and each time we took a taxi out to the 5th Ave area or to an excursion, we felt safe and the people are very nice. It gets a lot nicer a few blocks from the hotel.
10. Xcaret was a huge win for us. We loved it and the show was incredible. Again, it was fairly quiet at the park due to some rain showers and off-season and I wonder how it would feel when busy season.
All in all, I'd give it 8/10.”

“Our stay at Paradisus was truly extraordinary. We have stayed in many hotels, but this experience was special in a way that is difficult to put into words. From the food and entertainment to the incredible staff, every detail made our holiday unforgettable. If I had to highlight one thing above all else, it would be the people and the genuine culture of care that makes this hotel so exceptional.
The food: outstanding from breakfast to dinner. This is the first hotel where we have found the buffet to be just as good as the à la carte restaurants! The quality, variety and flavours were outstanding, and every meal felt like a treat.
A very special mention goes to Cielo in the omelette section. Every morning, she remembered exactly how my little one liked her omelette and prepared it with so much love and care. It was such a small gesture, yet it made our mornings feel incredibly special. Thank you, Cielo, for your kindness and for starting our days with such warmth!
The restaurants were equally impressive. Cielo offered such rich, authentic Mexican flavours, and Blue Agave was another highlight. We also loved the teppanyaki experience at Ibana, where the cooking show added an extra layer of fun and entertainment to a wonderful
The shows were fantastic, but the pirate show by the pool deserves a special mention. The quality of the performers and the incredible acrobatics were simply amazing. Honestly, it was the kind of show I would happily pay to see! It was spectacular entertainment and a wonderful experience for the whole family.
The most extraordinary part of our stay was undoubtedly the people. I honestly struggle to find the words to describe the level of service. Everyone was kind, attentive, caring and constantly looking for ways to make our experience better. What made it so special was that the kindness felt completely genuine. It never felt like people were simply doing their jobs; it felt as though they truly cared about us.
A huge thank you to Andrea in the lobby area, part of The Circle team. She honestly felt like family, and even more. She was always checking that we were okay, making sure we had everything we needed and helping us with anything we needed around the hotel. Her warmth and care made us feel so welcome and looked after. Andrea, thank you for making us feel so at home!
Another special mention goes to Ekira at Nero Café, who made my everyday coffee with so much love. Those little daily moments become beautiful memories, and her kindness made my coffee ritual something I looked forward to every day.
💖 Kidsdom: a paradise for our children
The Kidsdom team deserves a review of its own! I could hardly get my oldest daughter to leave! She absolutely loved the team and, when it was time to say goodbye, gave them so many hugs in her own sweet way. That says everything about how happy, safe and loved she felt there.
A heartfelt thank you to Ángeles, Montse, Iris, Diana, Angela and Laura for making her experience so wonderful.
For our little one, the team made her birthday and her stay extra special. Thank you so much to Leticia, Yesenia, Carlota and Yadira for all the love and care you gave her.
As parents, there is nothing more valuable than knowing your children are happy, having fun and in such wonderful hands. Being able to relax and enjoy our holiday without worrying because we knew our girls were so well cared for was priceless. Thank you all for creating such beautiful memories for our family.
Thank you, Paradisus, for a holiday we will never forget. We came for a family holiday, but we left with so many beautiful memories and a genuine connection to the people who made it special. The food was exceptional, the entertainment was wonderful, and the facilities were fantastic, but it was the people who truly made the difference.

“Nos encantó el hotel. Recomendamos absolutamente KidsDom, la guardería de niños, donde fueron muy amorosas con nuestros hijos de 7 y 4 años. Especialmente Yadira, Leticia, Carlota y Yessenia. Recomiendo también el equipo de entretenimiento del hotel, 10 de 10. Las mucamas, los garzones, la gente del aseo, los barman, guardias, salvavidas, la gente del lobby, etc, son muy atentos. Volveremos si o si el próximo año, y los recomendaremos a todos quienes conocemos en Chile.”

“This is the most family friendly resort! There are so many activities for kids throughout every day, a great water park, and plenty of places to relax for adults. The food is significantly better and more flavorful than other all-inclusive resorts we've been to. This resort has a luxurious feel while also remaining kid/family-focused. We have stayed on the adult-side but now have a child and I can guarantee that we still get our relaxing vacation, just with our child! The staff truly go above and beyond to ensure your stay meets your standard. Brisa at the Lunch Box is so professional and welcomes you to each meal and Selina makes you feel like family! We also appreciated the quick and amazing drink/ food service from Edgar and Johnny at the Family Concierge pool bar. Edgar, on the entertainment team, also took his time to get to know us and involve us in each day's activities.
Overall, this is a great fit if you're looking to relax with your family.”

“Yesterday I got back home from my birthday trip to Mexico, so it’s time to share my thoughts on everything.
It was my first time over there and I really loved the hotel, you can feel so many positive vibes.
First of all, all the facilities were clean and safe to use, in case you travel with your family.
The food was quite delicious and fresh, which was expected in Mexico, one of the best cuisines in the world.
My room was quite spacious,I had everything I needed and the housekeeping was fantastic, they clean all the rooms daily.
Their staff was very friendly, positive and outgoing, doing their best to make us feel like home.As a foreigner who speaks Spanish, I felt very happy to be there, knowing that I was truly welcomed.
I would like to mention Jessica and Anaisai from Blue Agave restaurant, they were super friendly and their hospitality was unmatchable.Having them at your resort is a blessing!
The waiters from that place were amazing too and also from Hadar (breakfast area)
Unfortunately I don’t know their names, but their service was excellent and we were cracking jokes all the time.
There is a white sand beach which belongs to the resort, such a nice place to take a swim.Unluckily right now is a seaweed season, but the hotel is trying everything it can to clean it up.
