“A hotel in a beautiful location. Beautiful garden, many types of accommodation. Unfortunately, the main restaurant and the main bar were closed for renovation, so we don't know what it was like. Thank you for the room upgrade, we got a LEVEL bungalow. Nice, comfortable, huge. Monkeys often roam the terrace, it's worth watching out for them. What went wrong in the room, were fixed almost immediately, unfortunately there were quite a few in the first few days. The air conditioning, the refrigerator, one of the lights were broken... but this was usually fixed and replaced quickly. Unfortunately, the wifi in the room is very weak, the phone was constantly disconnected. The Gabi beach is beautiful, the low tide is of course high in this area too, you can't always bathe or swim in the ocean. Catering: normal all inclusive, nothing special, standard food and drinks. The Gabi Beach restaurant offers dishes beyond expectations, it's worth trying almost everything. The a la carte menu of the LEVEL restaurant is sophisticated and the service is much more professional. Thank you:

“We stayed at the Melia resort for 4 nights and had a great time.
The property was beautiful, they had a number of activities, and very sweet friendly staff.
Whilst everyone was friendly and happy to help. We particularly we want to thank Sujeet, Tumaini, Said, and Elly for making our stay so comfortable and fun.
Thank you also to the Jetty restaurant staff who made our birthday dinner so special with amazing singing, service, and food!”

“Un hotel espectacular en un lugar de lo más paradisiaco. Tiene varios restaurantes, tres piscinas, gym, spa, servicio de masajes y acceso privado a la playa. El trato al cliente es exquisito, los camareros, especialmente Jordan y Gidion, quienes nos atendieron estupendamente toda la estancia, y el resto del staff son de lo más atentos y educados. En lo que respecta a nuestra experiencia, hemos ido por nuestra luna de miel y no solamente nos dieron una habitación mejor que la que nos correspondía sino que la última noche nos llevaron champagne a la habitación como regalo de despedida. No sé cómo serán el resto de hoteles de la isla pero sin duda Meliá Zanzíbar merece la pena.

“had an excellent stay at Melia Hotel and would like to sincerely thank the entire team for their professionalism and kindness.
A very special thank you to the managers, who were constantly present around the resort, listening to guests and making sure everyone was satisfied. It is rare to see a management team so involved and approachable. Even the smallest complaint is taken seriously and handled quickly and professionally.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, especially the reception team, who were always welcoming, smiling, and ready to help. Everyone genuinely does their best to ensure guests have the best possible experience.
My room was beautiful, modern yet authentic, very comfortable, and impeccably clean.
I also really enjoyed the swimming pool, which was pleasant, well-maintained, and spotless.
