“MIM Sotogrande is a wonderful boutique hotel in a top-class marina location. The refurbishment has been done brilliantly — stylish, relaxed and high quality without feeling overdone. Hincha is a real standout. For me, it is the best restaurant in the area and, along with Cancha Dos, one of the strongest venues in Sotogrande. The rooftop is also excellent: probably the best rooftop experience locally, with great drinks and a menu by Hincha. Breakfast has a relatively limited choice, but the quality is superb — very much best in class rather than a big generic buffet. The only slight negative was that service on the rooftop was a little slow, although it was busy and the staff were clearly working hard. Overall, it is hard to think of a better boutique-style hotel in the area. It is probably more suited to couples or solo stays than a full family holiday, but for style, food, drinks and location, MIM Sotogrande is excellent.”
