“Comfortable Hotel. Common areas in accomadation area could do with some rubbish being removed. A bit tired but overall ok.”

“Detta är ett fantastiskt lugnt och harmoniskt hotell med en genomgående hög standard. Personalen är otroligt tillmötesgående och ser verkligen till att man trivs, samtidigt som rummen och gemensamma utrymmen alltid hålls mycket rena och fräscha. Läget är perfekt för dig som vill ha lugn och ro men ändå ha närhet till liv och rörelse. Santa Maria ligger på ett behagligt promenadavstånd, men föredrar man taxi tar resan bara 5 minuter och kostar för närvarande runt 5 euro. När det kommer till shopping och prisläge ligger det på en rimlig mellannivå – det är inte jättedyrt, men inte heller superbilligt då det mesta importeras till ön.”

“El hotel en general esta bien, buena ubicación y limpieza, pero a mi parecer no llega a un 5 estrellas. El primer dia no nos pudieron entregar las toallas de la piscina porque no quedaban, eran las 3 de la tarde!, las toallas de la habitación tuvimos que pedirlas 3 veces porque no las cambiaban. El bufet es justito, la comida no está mal aunque todo demasiado cocinado (el bacon del desayuno cada dia quemado) y poca variedad. . Estos detalles no se pueden permitir en un 5 estrellas. Por otras opiniones que veo parece que para no tener problemas y que te traten mejor tienes que ser level”

“Really nice hotel with all inclusive. We upgraded to level because of the better breakfast and k18 pool. Hotel is starts to show age a little bit. Many things are broken and airconditioning and fridge on room are from last century. I was expeting these and people are so nice. English is not always enough and you need to speak portugese or speak with hands. Good wifi in all areas and no need to use roaming for internet. Starwathing is a good hobby here if you have trouble gettting sleep during every night.”

“Resort molto carino,diversi ristoranti ,ed anche al buffet principale il cibo è davvero abbondante e buono.Purtroppo la pulizia delle camere lascia a desiderare.Il personale ha tanta buona volontà ma NCS nn ci siamo.Fanno fatica a capire le richieste e SE capiscono fanno finta di non capire.....Lato positivo adult only quindi assolutamente tranquillo.ALTRA NOTA DOLENTE di Sal ,l' aeroporto coda interminabile per tuttooooooo con un unico sportello per controllo passaporti ecc....E sono lì in 10 che ti guardano”

“Måste ändå ge dom full pott. Så trevlig personal som verkligen ger dig allt du vill ha, och behöver. Maten är kanske inte det bästa man käkat, men om man tänker på att vi är i Väst Afrika... Då funkar det. Det är ett fattigt land och allt importeras till ön. Man gillar kanske inte allt men man kommer garanterat hitta något som man tycker är riktigt gott. Så har man detta i tanken så kommer man absolut inte bli besviken.”

“Was lovely staff couldn't do more for you, We did have an issue when we first arrived but was rectified quickly, mini bar restocked daily, cleaners so friendly, had a small issues with towels but this was due to the laundry service being late and due to a water issue not the hotels fault, highly recommend this hotel this was for our honeymoon, we went vip which ment we could use all 4 hotels , we mainly stayed in ours as was beautiful and had lots of space, the spa at the tortuga is absolutely amazing if your after the full spa and pamper experience”

“This place is great, staff are great, food is okay and drinks are banging BUT they don’t have enough towels for the rooms. Search the reviews, very frequently mentioned and clearly not dealt with. They will literally leave you with no towels in your room day after day. So annoying.”

En la recepción super amables y familiares siempre con una alegría muy grande, los Restaurantes favoritos para nosotros Las serenas y pura vida 💛 cómo clientes the level buena calidad y muy buen servicio y Mosaico fue nuestro porqué aunque no nos correspondia el desayuno en este Restaurante nos quedamos todos los dias para desayunar en esté Restaurante por su excelente ambiente y buen servicio además de disfrutar de la alegría de sus gentes Pero el lugar superior en este Hotel se llama the level lounge Bar super servicio, muy amables todos siempre nos sentimos en familia . “The reviews of this resort are very daunting at first, but please don’t get caught up on them because in my opinion, they are very dramatic. I have just returned home from my visit here, and not once did I feel frustrated with any part of the experience. The staff are extremely lovely and can’t do enough for you. The buffet isn’t the most spectacular, but it definitely has options (i’m just a picky eater, which in that case I found the snack bar was better for me). We didn’t face any hygiene issues. They constantly switch the food out every 5-10 minutes, the staff are really on the ball with cleaning tables, cutlery, surfaces & offering/refilling peoples drinks. If you use your common sense & sanitise, you will literally be fine. The beds (in my opinion) were not as uncomfortable as people on these reviews make them out to be. Yes, they are hard, but that didn’t bother me. The room service was pleasant & efficient. Upon arrival they offer you drinks and almost immediately take your bags for you, guide you to your room and give you all the information you need. The wifi isn’t spectacular, but it does the job. It’s a really lovely resort and a fabulous stay. It’s somewhere i’d 100% return to, and i’m very glad I didn’t listen to the reviews and book elsewhere.”

“Just had a week at the Melia Llana. As others have said it's not a 5 star hotel, but certainly 4 star. Plus points are: Great location Friendly staff Good choice of food All inclusive drinks not bad and includes some cocktails. Rooms cleaned daily. Good variety of entertainment. Big comfortable rooms. (Yes, beds are hard, but comfortable). Negative points (Room for improvement). Breakfast can be chaotic. No cups and no coffee. Staff seem to not be managed and short staffed at times Allowing towels to be put on sun loungers and left half the day and not used. We booked a swim up room purely so we knew we had somewhere to sit. Towels removed by cleaners from rooms. Told will be replaced later, but they don't turn up. Had to ask and they arrived after 9pm. Internet in room is hit and miss whether it connects or not. It is better in main areas, but not much better. Drinks in room supposed to be every two days. Had to ask after three days. Then sorted myself with staff. Not my job attitude in certain areas. Blue gloves next to path all week. Most staff passing them every day and not picking up. Only Ceylon teabags mostly available. Not really catering for UK market. Overall a great holiday, but I think management needs to look into certain areas. Maybe give restaurant staff more responsibility and possibly job progression.”
