“I really felt relaxed here. Everything was perfect, the garden, the rooms, breakfast, dinner. Clean and lovely atmosphere. There were also natural pools directly in front of the hotel (for the ocean lovers ;)) We’ll come back. (PS We were red level guests)”

Todo esto se hace posible en el hotel gracias al personal maravilloso que tienen . El hotel es precioso y con esas piscinas y restaurantes todo es más cómodo y fácil . Tenemos ya pensado volver en mayo y sin duda queremos volver a ver a Ane y que nos vuelva a gestionar todo como lo hace ya que con ella todo es mucho más fácil y sencillo .”

“Die Zimmer sind großzügig und zweckvoll eingerichtet. Es riecht im Zimmer nach feuchten Wänden/ Schimmel. Die Betten haben ihre besten Zeiten bestimmt schon 10 Jahre hinter sich .Die Sauberkeit entsprach leider überhaupt nicht unserem Standart. Der Boden im Zimmer wurde nicht gefegt, an vielen Ecken lag der Staub Finger dick. Der Service war ok. Nicht unfreundlich, aber leider nicht so wie ich es von 5 Sternen kenne. Hier hätte ich mir mehr Servicegedanken und ein bisschen schnelleren Service gewünscht. Das Essen war gut, aber nichts außergewöhnliches. Die Poollandschaft ist richtig schön und das Abendprogramm abwechslungsreich. Aber auch hier ist der Service lange nicht an seine Grenzen gekommen. Man wartet teilweise 30 Minuten um eine Bestellung aufzugeben und dann weiter 20 Min. bis der Drink da ist. Die Möglichkeit an der Bar zu bestellen gibt es nicht. Die Drinks waren gut. Wir sind Melia Fans, aber dieses hat uns enttäuscht. Preis Leistung empfinde ich nicht gerechtfertigt.”

“He estado en el hotel estos últimos días , tenía unas expectativas que se han cumplido con creces, la comida muy buena y variada, las instalaciones muy cuidadas, piscinas de ensueño, El personal profesional y amable, todo genial. Quisiera hacer una mención espe a Carlos Bravo, un camarero muy profesional y agradable a pesar de su juventud , que nos ha atendido todas las noches mientras veíamos los diferentes espectáculos, a Agustín cocinero que nos ha cocinado arroces deliciosos . Y al equipo del Bar Piscina, que con Alberto al frente hace que sea el sitio de referencia,, por su profesionalidad y cercanía a los clientes, nos hemos sentido comp en casa, entre amigos. Solo me queda daros las gracias, por hacer que hayamos disfrutado estos días., el año que viene volveremos y espero veros a tod@s de nuevo.”

“My wife and I recently returned from a delightful stay at Gran Melia Palacio de Isora. Although we opted for the adult-only side, we noticed families enjoying various activities in other areas of the hotel. They seemed to have an array of options for children. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Jessica at the red-level reception. She was always a friendly presence and helped us navigate activities on and off the property. We were very lucky to meet such a nice and helpful person. We quickly became friends with Lucas and Enrique who also work in the reception area, who were always ready to answer our questions and provide valuable information about the hotel’s offerings. Their attentiveness and helpfulness made our stay even more enjoyable. They also had plenty of live entertainment every night with a fantastic Flamenco night as well as great live music performances and even some acrobatics. The grounds of the hotel were meticulously maintained, and the food was simply phenomenal. On our first night, we had a delicious dinner at L’Olio. Fidel, our server, was an expert in recommending the best dishes from the menu. Paola Franco, who is in charge of the restaurants, was equally knowledgeable and helpful. She addressed all our restaurant-related inquiries and even suggested other Melia properties we might want to visit in the future. For a teppanyaki experience, we visited Nami. Carmen Mederos, our server, went above and beyond to ensure my wife’s safety due to her shellfish allergy. Daniel and Guacimara at the Duo steak restaurant were equally attentive and friendly. They patiently answered our questions, helped us navigate the menu, and even recommended a fantastic white wine to complement our meal. The chateaubriand was an exquisite experience. Sofia Garcia, the hostess at Nami, added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. While the infinity pool was stunning, it was a bit chilly, as expected in November since it’s filled with ocean water. We had breakfast every morning at Le Bistro Provençal, where Beatriz Gonzalez and Rafa made sure we were well-cared for and that our coffee was always flowing. On our last evening, we decided to return to L’Olio for another delightful dinner. Overall, our stay at Melia Palacio Gran Isora was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and mouthwatering cuisine. We had the pleasure of meeting Jorge Diaz Cruz, a genuinely kind person, and were delighted to see Guacimarra Hernandez and Daniel Hernandez Martin there as well. It gave us the opportunity to say goodbye and thank them for their hospitality. We also engaged in a delightful conversation with Serena Turculin, another member of the wait staff. The hotel’s beauty and meticulous maintenance are undeniable, but it’s the exceptional staff that truly elevates this place to new heights. We will undoubtedly return to this wonderful establishment in the future.”

“Our stay at Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora had its ups and downs. The property itself is beautiful and very kid-friendly, with spacious, well-designed rooms (at least the suite we booked was) and friendly staff. However, the pools were cold despite being advertised as heated, making them unusable at times—not just for our toddler but for us as adults too. The bathroom sinks overflowed easily, creating a mess, and the bed, while comfortable, moved around because it was on wheels. We also had trouble with the app for booking restaurants, and our request for a late check-out was mishandled—we were repeatedly told to call back, only to be denied. At check-out, we were mistakenly charged $135 for a dinner despite our all-inclusive package, and while it was resolved, it took time. Additionally, after leaving behind a towel belonging to our daughter, we called multiple times over two days, but the hotel never followed up as promised. Overall, we had a good stay however I’m not sure we would return.”

“STAFF- - Let's start by 1st acknowledging the wonderful staff who are really good, always making sure to give your their best, make you feel at ease and doing everything they can to make your stay a great one. Bravo to them ! PROPERTY- - Now comes the property. It's supposed to be a 5 star and it is a huge property, but I guess this is our 1st time experience in such a huge property (as we usually go for the 5 star boutique hotels or atleast not so huge) thats accommodating of some 600 guest which is really great for family with kids and they also do have the Red level exclusive for adults only, though its not really much of a difference except for the butler service, drinks and the extra care and access to certain restos and is a small part of the property. However there were little things like water is not included everyday in the room except the 1st night rest you have to pay for it which I was surprised as all 5 stars we have stayed is inclusive but then again I guess the size of this hotel cannot afford to do so for about 600 guests. All in all we had a relaxed vacation and was only let down by the food (which is super important to us) quality but I guess this could have been the case in most of the hotel here in tenerrife.”
