Cam Ranh

One of the less crowded cities on the east coast of Vietnam. The long beaches of fine white sand and crystal-clear waters make it the ideal destination for travellers seeking peace and relaxation in the sun.

The quietest beaches in Vietnam

Just a few kilometres from the famous Vietnamese city of Nha Trang, Cam Ranh is a paradise for beach lovers. Bai Dai is the most famous beach, thanks to more than 6 kilometres of white sand and turquoise waters. Bai Dai also has a beach bar where we recommend you take a seat and enjoy a drink. Apart from basking in the sun on the beach, in Cam Ranh you can also visit the Oc Tu Van Pagoda, a temple built with corals and shells. Hon Bah Nature Reserve is home to numerous unique species. Núi Chúa National Park and its beautiful dry coral reef are also worth a visit.

The official currency is the dong. We recommend you carry cash if you want to buy in small shops or from street stalls.
The official language is Vietnamese. A good part of the population knows some basic English.
The quality of Internet access is good in the cities. In more rural areas there may be some problems with Internet access.
Temperatures range between 22 and 32ºC throughout the year. The rainiest season is between May and December.
