A perfect combination of safaris and beaches

This is the ideal destination if you want to combine exciting safaris with rest on beautiful beaches. A place you have to visit in Tanzania is Serengeti National Park, a Mecca for safaris where, using the term used to refer to the most difficult mammals to hunt on foot, you can see all of the “Big Five”: lions, rhinoceroses, elephants, leopards and buffaloes. In the Ngorongoro Crater you can also see an astonishing variety of different plants and animals. And if you like climbing, at 5,895 metres, Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa. Mafia is a marine reserve with whale sharks and coral reefs. Stone Town is the name given to the old part of Zanzibar City, whose beauty has been acknowledged by being named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Currency
The official currency is the Tanzanian shilling. Most hotels, bars and restaurants accept euros.
Language
The official language is Swahili. Most people also speak the language of their tribe.

The quality of Internet access is good in hotels. In more rural areas there may be some problems with Internet access.
Weather
The climate is tropical and not too hot due to the altitude. Tropical rains often come in showers or storms.
