Relax after a safari
Much of this wonderful archipelago is surrounded by coral reefs. The most famous is Mnemba, a 28-kilometre atoll where you can see turtles and dolphins. You can also see monkeys in the tropical Jozani Chwka Bay National Park. If you plan to visit Zanzibar on holiday, we recommend visiting one of its spice farms. Stone Town is the most beautiful historical area on the island of Zanzibar. A maze of narrow and dark streets declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Nungwi is an area with beautiful beaches where you can do all kinds of water sports and enjoy watching the phenomena when the tide goes out and the sea seems to recede. Pemba Island is the second largest island in the archipelago and a magnificent place for scuba diving.
