“Sol Príncipe is a good hotel overall, perfectly suited for a calm family vacation. The evening entertainment was enjoyable, and the pools were great. However, because the hotel caters to many guests, the space around the pool for sunbeds and the seating in the restaurant feel inadequate when it’s busy. In our room, the air conditioning was quite slow to cool down, and the refrigerator stayed warm instead of cold. The meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) were standard buffet fare—nothing fancy, but fine. Good stay overall, just be prepared for the crowds during peak hours!”

“Our stay at Sol Príncipe was wonderful, and we really enjoyed it. The hotel has beautiful grounds, lovely pools, and a great location right by the beach. The room was clean, comfortable, and regularly cleaned. The food was varied and delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back again.”

“The Good: The hotel has great facilities, lovely pools, comfortable rooms, and a very good food selection. The location is ideal, close to the airport, just a short walk to the beach, and convenient for trips into both Torremolinos and Málaga. Areas for Improvement: Customer service throughout our stay was subpar and felt like the bare minimum. Upon arrival, our room hadn't been properly prepped (there was a used spoon, no hand soap, and no bag in the trash bin). When reporting this at the front desk, the staff member walked away mid-sentence to pick up a phone, and we felt like we were interrupting just trying to get the basics sorted. At dinner, you cannot get drinks yourself, but the restaurant staff appeared clearly overworked and stressed, meaning we repeatedly had to flag someone down just to get water or drinks. A really nice property with great potential, but management needs to address staffing levels and basic front-of-house communication.”
