La struttura è meravigliosa: immersa in un giardino tropicale curatissimo, con spazi ampi, raffinati ma mai freddi. “The most amazing, 5 star, honeymoon stay! We have just returned from Meliá, Zanzibar and what an incredible time we had. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and the staff just cannot do enough for you - everyone is so friendly, welcoming and more than happy to chat to you. One particular waiter, Eli, was a stand out for us - a great guy, super attentive and a good laugh. We really enjoyed the food while we were there. The buffet restaurant has a different theme every night which we loved - BBQ night at the Spice Market restaurant and Swahili night down at Gabi beach were fantastic. The hotel and grounds are very well maintained - the pool area is lovely and the gardens boast beautiful trees, flowers, fruits and wildlife. Gabi beach is a short buggy ride away and is complete with a restaurant, bar, kayaks, loungers, towels and the most amazing views. There are lots of lovely activities at the hotel too, including local village and cave tour, Makuti craft and Swahili lessons. There is also plenty to do on the beautiful island of Zanzibar and nearby. The staff were also very accommodating of excursions, making us a breakfast box to take with us when we had an early start for safari. Overall, I can’t recommend Meliá Zanzibar enough, it really felt like paradise.”

“We have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Melia Zanzibar after a safari in Tanzania to celebrate our honeymoon. It was truly magical. The staff are so unbelievably friendly and kind and work so hard. We stayed in a stunning romance pavilion overlooking the sea. It was so beautiful and so special to wake up to the sea everyday outside our huge windows. We enjoyed all of the services The Level had to offer and spent most of our time around the private pool. The Level was so special for our honeymoon as it offered us a more private and relaxing area to swim, chill and dine of an evening and we made real friendships with the staff up there when having breakfast, around the pool during the day and also for dinner and drinks in the evening. We also went to Gabi beach pretty much everyday for lunch which is a beautiful setting on the beach, we went to the Jetty twice to enjoy delicious seafood and also Tamu for their traditional Swahili menu. The library bar was really nice later in the evening for a drink and live music. One of the most special evenings for us was the beach dinner on Thursdays. We were lucky we got to experience this twice and the first time we went I didn’t know what to expect but it was such a special surprise and all of the staff are just fantastic. It was like being at a wedding. It was amazing. We would like to mention some staff members who’s names we remembered on our trip although everyone we met was so amazing and there are too many people we could have mentioned but these are the ones that stood out to us. Sheila and Abdul in the reception area welcomed us so kindly as we were so shattered after Safari and were there for anything we needed and ensured our trip was so relaxing and also provided knowledge of trips we could do. The staff who drove to collect us to take us to The Level everyday, we thank you for your smiles everyday and the songs you sang when you picked us up. Lilian, Mr Richard, Witnes, Jacob, Danielle and Cecilia are some of the most wonderful people we have ever met. Being greeted at breakfast in the morning to spending time chatting during the day and saying goodnight in the evenings. They made our trip so special with their kindness.
