(Translated by Google) In keeping with the grand tradition of Meliá hotels, the Meliá Sitges embraces classicism: a vast marble lobby, light colors, and clean lines. An elegant but somewhat austere setting, perhaps a little too austere for a destination as sunny as Spain. The hotel regularly hosts conferences, and in the off-season, it's not uncommon to see more business travelers than tourists. The location is one of its real strengths: easily accessible from the highway, with a large, secure parking lot. Convenient, even if the price—€26/day for hotel guests, €29 for others—is a bit steep in my opinion. The hotel is perched on a hill, which has its advantages and disadvantages. On the plus side, you absolutely must book a room with a balcony overlooking the sea and the village: the panorama is magnificent. The nearest beach is a 5-minute walk away, and the seaside restaurants and the historic district are just a ten-minute stroll away. On the other hand, the wind is quite noticeable at the end of April, much more so than at sea level. The breakfasts are truly excellent, with a wide selection and attentive staff. This is clearly one of the highlights of the stay. What I liked less: the somewhat flimsy and low-end furniture in the room, and the artificial grass around the pool, which I hadn't anticipated when booking—if I had known, I probably would have chosen a different hotel, but I know it's a very personal, almost phobic, issue; some people prefer it. Another detail: a long extension cord on the floor in the parking lot meant that you had to lift your rolling suitcases to get to the elevator, which was a bit of a nuisance, even if it seemed temporary. Overall, a very positive stay. The price-quality ratio for the room and breakfast is really good.”
