“In summary, exceptionally poor value for money. We had such a disappointing experience that it has taken me months to summon the energy to write this review! Examples of positives = Beautiful location + modern, mostly clean, well-maintained hotel. Spa treatments were not cheap, but were excellent. Examples of negatives = Up-selling Caveat: Having stayed with Melia before, we've been given upgrades subject to availability. Upon arrival at Villa Le Blanc we were offered the opportunity to view a room upgrade the following day, which we very appreciatingly accepted. Imagine our shock when the situation turned incredibly awkward, standing in a new room with a member of staff who then attempted to haggle the price with us. Not once was a price mentioned when the upgrade was offered, otherwise we would have politely declined. We booked a gorgeous suite (not cheap) and were very happy with our choice against our budget. We couldn't believe that (in retrospect) the hotel attempted to up-sell us the moment we'd stepped through the doors. Tipping Every transaction in the hotel comes complete with an awkward digital screen where you're prompted to tip staff for minor interactions. So needlessly awkward! Food. We struggled particularly with eating at the hotel. Breakfast was disappointing because unless you eat eggs, there is no table-service, only buffet. Birds frequently land on the bread in the restaurant, which is cute but unhygienic. Dinners are very expensive for what you get, in terms of quality and quantity. For the record, €30 per person for vegetable paella is outrageous. Although the hotel advertises that they cater to allergy/dietary requirements, we found the options limited to paying full value for mains with the protein removed. When we did find a dish that we could eat, we were told that we would need to walk 10 paces around the corner (onto the same balcony) to eat at a different restaurant, as they didn't serve that dish at that particular time of day. Not very 5* service. Special mention for the curious room-service menu that only runs from 1am-7am, featuring the illusive vegan sandwich. The Spa area. For such a large hotel, the indoor pool, sauna facilities etc are very limited. Pricing for treatments in their brochure (via the hotel 'app') are incorrect + different to the prices when you try to book. Often the drinking water was left empty for long periods of time and litter was left around the pool. I can imagine that this area gets very suffocating during high-season. Parking Hotel charges fairly enormous rates for parking on-site, failing to mention that there is ample free parking around the town close by to the hotel. This comes across as taking advantage of travellers not familiar with the area.”

“Une expérience incroyable dans cet hôtel 5 étoiles. Un personnel aux petits soins. Un buffet gargantuesque au petit déjeuner. L'hôtel est décoré avec goût. Une belle salle de sport également. Une piscine chauffée avec vue mer en rooftop. Un spa tout confort avec sauna hammam piscine chauffée. Ça vaut vraiment le coup d'y aller !”

“Den vielen überschwänglichen Bewertungen kann ich nicht wirklich zustimmen. Es mag daher kommen, dass ich als Alleinreisende für ein Zimmer mit Frühstück über 3000 € bezahlt habe. Zuzüglich Flug und Anreise. Bei dem Preis hätte ich von einem Leading Hotel of the World mehr erwartet. Die Zimmer sind sehr schlicht und hellhörig. Das Bett war von guter Qualität und auch die Bettwäsche war angenehm. Störend empfand ich, dass die Dusche sich mitten im Zimmer befindet Und nur durch einen leichten Vorhang abgetrennt ist. Gott sei Dank, hatte wenigstens die Toilette eine Türe. Ungewöhnlich allerdings auch, dass das Waschbecken sich dann im Toilettenraum befand. Die Zimmerreinigung war okay. Allerdings gab es weder Wattepads noch Ohrenstäbchen. Das Frühstück am Morgen auf der sonnigen adults only Terrasse war sehr angenehm auch wenn der Kaffee furchtbar schmeckte. Allerdings hatte ich dort nur an drei Tagen die Möglichkeit zu frühstücken, danach wurde die Terrasse fürs Frühstück geschlossen. Das Essen à la carte ist sehr hochpreisig und die Preise können nicht mit der Qualität der Speisen erklärt werden. Da fehlte es oftmals an Gewürzen und Raffinesse. Der Service jedoch war immer außergewöhnlich freundlich. Zu meiner Reisezeit, Anfang Oktober gab es genug Liegeplätze auf den Wiesen und am Pool. Das Problem war, dass die Matratzen von den Liegen abends nicht entfernt werden und sie somit morgens immer voller Vogelkot waren. Die ganze Wiese ist mit Tierkot übersät, von dem man nicht weiß, woher er kommt. Dicke schwarze Haufen. Da müssten die Gärtner morgens einmal tätig werden und den Mist zusammenharken. Ansonsten gibt es vor Ort nicht viel zu tun. Ein kleines Gym und ein nettes Spa. Wer etwas von der Insel sehen möchte, sollte sich einen Mietwagen organisieren, denn alles andere ist relativ weit entfernt und es gibt kein Uber vor Ort. Das Taxi vom Flughafen hierher kostet rund 50 €. Die Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln an Mahon ist schlecht. Das Meer vor Ort war herrlich und lädt zum Schwimmen ein.”

“Without a doubt, this is the best beachfront hotel we’ve ever stayed at. We were lucky enough to stay in a suite with stunning sea views, and we honestly couldn’t recommend it more. The service, the kindness of the staff, and the overall quality are truly exceptional. Falling asleep to the sound of the sea made our stay unforgettable. Breakfast with sea views is absolutely spectacular and makes you not want to leave the hotel. Between the spa, the main pool, the rooftop pool and the other swimming areas, along with the amazing service, you just want to stay here all day. Villa Le Blanc has become one of our favorite destinations, and we’ll definitely be coming back”

“Ojo! Grandísimo hotel,ubicación,comida,limpieza,atención pero ojooooooooooo!!!!.El centro asiático de masajes,no está para nada al nivel que el resto del hotel ni de sus empleados y al final tb es servicio. Mi hija y un amigo se hicieron masaje relajante,y contentos,hasta ahí todo bien.Sin embargo yo,q llevo toda la vida haciendo deporte y para quitarme una contractura(q es a lo q fui yo),hay que hacer mucha presion y mucho tacto xq no tengo grasa de protección(8%);Mi masaje descontracturante le hicieron subiéndose por encima de mi espalda(imposible tener el mismo tacto q con las manos) y apretando muchísimo,hasta el punto de hundirme vértebras en las espalda y pinzarme x consiguiente nervios. Me desperté al día siguiente con pinchazos profundísimos.Fui a un fisio a cuidadella,q me dijo q creía q tenía bloqueadas vértebras y no me aseguraba el desbloqueo,aun así lo intenté por los dolores tremendos y efectivamente no me lo quitó xq mis dolores seguían. Llegue a Madrid.Pase tres semanas horribles,como si tuviese un puñal las 24 horas clavado en la espalda pero quería q me tocase nadie más hasta q llegase mi físio de confianza(estaba de vacaciones),que fue quien me corroboró que estaban bloqueadas unas vértebras y los nervios se me han quedado muy afectados después de desbloquearlas.casi dos meses después (esto fue el 10/08/2025)sigo sin la fuerza normal en el brazo izquierdo,ni la fuerza normal,ni siento igual la espalda ,brazo izquierdo y pectoral izquierdo.Por eso he decidido poner esta reseña,para que ,si por ponerla evito que le pase a alguien más estos 2 meses que llevo sin poner hacer mi vida normal deportiva(a su nivel)y esas 3 semanas de pesadilla ni te cuento el bien que haré. Pague casi 14000 E por una Suite Ocean.inmejorable la habitación ,las vistas,comida etc.....pero EL CENTRO DE MASAJES ASIATICO(masaje anticontracturas en mi caso),me reventó las vacaciones,me quedaban dias(del 08 al 15),y como os imagináis no los disfruté. “Ho soggiornato per una settimana in questo bellissimo albergo ,proprio di fronte al mare. È stata una vacanza meravigliosa! L’albergo era curato nei minimi dettagli, con una vista mozzafiato e una posizione perfetta per rilassarsi. Il personale è stato sempre cordiale, disponibile e molto gentile. “Nice hotel well located. Very confortable room and nice facilities with large pools in and out. The breakfast is fantastic with a large choice. Staff is friendly. However the service is not up to the level of a 5 stars : just be patient for someone to take your order, serve your food or drinks… value for money is not at the level of a leading hotel.
