“Top Stadthotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und schöner Dachterrasse. Einen kleinen Fitnessraumgibt es ebenfalls. Einzig die Zimmer könnten ein wenig besser beleuchtet sein. Die Zimmer mit Balkon haben sogar einen Blick auf den Hafen.”

“Bel hôtel avec chambre qualitative et spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et de qualité. La terrasse rooftop est top !! Petit bémol sur l'insonorisation et les travaux qui avaient lieu dans le quartier.”

“Great amenities and exceptional service recovery, despite an initial room issue. THE GOOD This property has a fantastic central location. The room itself was lovely, featuring a very comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. We also really enjoyed having a drink at the rooftop bar during the rainy weather. There is a small pool and sunbeds up there as well, which look great for sunnier days. THE HICCUP & FEEDBACK We booked a Superior Double Room, checked in earlier in the day, and went out to explore. Since we took our room key with us, the power was off while we were out. When we returned in the evening, we found the AC completely broken and acting only as a fan. The initial front desk response was unfortunately reactive. I had to explicitly ask for a portable fan, request bottled water, and ask for someone to physically check the unit. Having to problem-solve the issue myself added unnecessary stress to my holiday. At a premium price point, staff should be trained to proactively offer these comfort measures the moment a critical failure is reported, rather than waiting for the guest to ask. THE RESOLUTION This is where the hotel earned its stars back. Paco from the night shift not only helped that first night, but actively advocated for us behind the scenes, promising us something nice to make up for the trouble. Daytime manager Xisca (Francesca) brilliantly followed through the next day. She personally apologized, ensured the AC was fully repaired, and comped our dinner and drinks to make up for the uncomfortable night. BOTTOM LINE A true 5-star stay is flawless, so having to troubleshoot my own room on night one costs a star. However, I am giving a strong 4 stars because of the great facilities and how perfectly Xisca and Paco handled the resolution. Because of their teamwork and care, I would gladly stay here again knowing they make things right.”
