“We are currently staying at Holiday world Polynesia and after reading a lot of bad reviews before our stay I was really worried that we had made a huge mistake, but I can honestly say we are so pleasantly surprised. From the moment we checked in the staff have all been very helpful and pleasant. We are staying as a couple and 4 year old child, my daughter is unbelievably picky at home and she's eaten more here than there! The food can be quite cool at times but microwaves are provided, everything is still cooked fresh and replenished often. Plenty of variety and we haven't gone hungry once, it is a 4* hotel in Spain, not a 5* and I feel a lot of the bad food reviews are from people that might be used to a less varied palette, it's lovely and the chefs do a cracking job! Drinks are as you'd expect, yes the cocktails are premixed but I've had much worse! Cruzcampo on tap which is great. The hotel is out in the sticks yes but id never rate a hotel bad for location as I know exact where it is before I book it! We visit the waterpark today and although we knew there was a shuttle bus we decided to walk down and back up, a bit of a steep hill but I was also pushing a 4 year old in a pram and everything else and managed fine, if you don't like the walk the open top bus is very reliable and comes frequently. Some of the pools are cool but soon warm up when you're in, my daughter loved every pool there and we spent all day at the waterpark and had the buffet lunch which again had loads of variety and was great. There's so much to do at the hotel, no not everything is covered in the all inclusive but we managed to go to the spa all together this morning which was included once within our package. The trampolines are a small additional cost and there's a fantastic arcade where most things cost €1 and there's also a bowling alley! The shop is pricey, but it's to be expected. You're in a hotel with no other shops around so of course they're going to put the prices up, you pay for the convenience... They have everything you'd expect in a local store and lots of souvenir type bits. Loads of clothes, bikinis, toys for kids, floats, if you don't mind paying a few extra euros for convenience it's fantastic, if not, there's a bus stop at the bottom of the road and we're about 10 mins away from the Mercadona. We've had a few ants but again... We are in Spain, nothing unexpected and they'll come for any little crumb and if any guests have left food behind in the past the ants will think more will come, we've killed a few and so far they haven't returned, I'm sure reception would be more than happy to provide some spray if needed. The rooms are clean and spacious and the balconies are huge. So far I have no complaints and we are very happy we booked here, it's a perfect family holiday!”

“La limpieza y el lugar es maravilloso, pero lo mejor de todo es el personal amable y simpático, en especial los del bufet del polynesia como son Marcos y Alfonso que nos han estado atendiendo divinamente. Creo que es de las mejores atenciones que hemos tenido en muchos hoteles. Si tuviera que mejorar algo sería el snack bar que apenas hay de nada y el uso abusivo de las pelotas en la piscina, ya que a veces son hasta peligrosas. Sobre la beach club, que no hay nada para merendar y te hace volverte.”
