Medellín

Far from a troubled past that has inspired countless movies and TV series, this vibrant South American city is now a modern city full of art.

Powerful street art

Plaza Botero, in the heart of the historic centre of Medellín, is a great place to start discovering one of the cities with the highest potential in Colombia. It is home to the Parque de las Esculturas, a large open-air art gallery with 23 large sculptures by the city's most international artist, Fernando Botero. The square is only the most iconic example of the art that Medellín has on display throughout the city. Art that reaches its maximum expression in the Museum of Antioquia, the most important museum in the city. Do you still have doubts about what to see in Medellín?
