Participants begin their journey in one of Chengdu’s picturesque parks, where the city’s leisurely lifestyle comes to life around them. Here, the art of Chinese tea drinking is showcased amongst the energy of local park activities, including traditional square dancing. The experience continues with a visit to Wenshu Monastery, a sanctuary of peace and history. As the oldest and best-preserved temple complex in Chengdu, its serene atmosphere, practising monks, and thriving gardens offer a glimpse into the city’s spiritual heritage. The day concludes in a tranquil tea house, where guests can reflect on their recent cultural experience.
