The experience begins in a local tea house, where guests are introduced to Mahjong, a traditional Chinese game that has been played for centuries. With expert guidance, participants will learn the basic rules and enjoy the social charm of this ancient pastime. The day continues with a peaceful stroll through People’s Park, a beloved retreat for locals. Surrounded by beautifully manicured bonsai gardens and historic monuments, guests can relax with a cup of local tea, soaking in the park’s serene atmosphere. Finally, the journey takes participants to Wenshu Monastery, Chengdu’s most preserved temple, where art, history, and spirituality combine.

Afterwards, guests will explore People’s Park, a serene green space where locals gather to practise tai chi, sing, and relax in the natural beauty of bonsai trees and lakeside views.

The journey culminates at Wenshu Monastery, Chengdu’s oldest and most revered temple complex. Here, participants are invited to explore the gardens, sacred halls, and art that adorns the monastery. The peaceful atmosphere, accentuated by the scent of incense, offers a moment of reflection and spiritual calm, completing this rich cultural experience.
