“We stayed at Villa Agrippina Gran Meliá in June 2026 with our family of five, and we absolutely loved it. It was one of those hotels where, by the end of the trip, we were already talking about when we could come back. Our room was amazing — incredibly spacious, beautiful, and perfect for a family of five. Having so much room to spread out made such a difference, especially after long days exploring Rome. The spa was incredible, and the pool quickly became one of our favorite parts of the hotel. It was such a treat to come back after sightseeing, relax by the pool, and enjoy a glass of wine. And the food was wonderful — we especially loved the pasta, and the wine list was fantastic. The location is also hard to beat. Being right by the Vatican made getting around so easy, and we loved being able to walk out of the hotel and immediately be in the heart of Rome. At the same time, the property felt peaceful and secluded, which was such a nice escape from the energy of the city. We traveled with our three children, and the hotel was wonderful for our family. It felt luxurious without feeling uncomfortable or overly formal, and there was something for everyone to enjoy. We had such a wonderful experience that we are already planning to come back next summer. That probably says more than anything else about how much we loved Villa Agrippina Gran Meliá. We can’t wait to return!”

“Eine absolute Oase des Luxus und der Herzlichkeit in Rom! Unsere Erwartungen wurden nicht nur erfüllt, sondern vom ersten Moment an weit übertroffen. Schon direkt nach der Buchung wurden wir von Alessandro Crosti, dem Guest Experience Manager, kontaktiert. Er erkundigte sich proaktiv nach unseren Extrawünschen und versicherte uns, sein Bestes zu tun, um uns einen besonderen Aufenthalt zu bieten... und genau so war es! Ein paar Tage vor der Anreise teilten wir dem Hotel unsere Flugdaten und die geplante Ankunftszeit mit. Als wir im Hotel ankamen, wusste das Personal sofort, wer wir sind. Alessandro kam extra zu uns, um sich persönlich vorzustellen. Er war nicht allein, sondern in Begleitung von Marta Catalano, der Resident Managerin des Hotels. Da wir sehr früh angereist waren und unser Zimmer noch nicht bezugsfertig war, begleitete man uns direkt nach dem Check-in ins Restaurant. Dort wurden uns kostenlose Getränke und Essen angeboten. Alles fühlte sich so schön und entspannt an, dass wir es kaum glauben konnten... Wir hatten noch nicht einmal unser Zimmer betreten und unsere Erwartungen waren schon übertroffen! Als wir schließlich unser Zimmer betraten, wartete die nächste Überraschung auf uns: Ein super frisches, wunderschön präsentiertes Delikatessen-Brett und dazu eine Flasche Wein, alles als complimentary Aufmerksamkeit des Hotels. Zudem lag dort ein handgeschriebener Brief von Andrea Fiorentini, dem General Manager, in dem er uns herzlich willkommen hieß und uns „a fantastic stay in the eternal city“ wünschte. Das Frühstück war einfach ein Traum: Oh mein Gott, alles, was man sich nur vorstellen kann, war da, und noch viel mehr! Das Personal sprach zwar nicht immer perfekt Englisch, aber die Verständigung klappte trotzdem jederzeit hervorragend. Viele Mitarbeiter sprachen neben Italienisch auch Spanisch und Deutsch, was eine tolle, internationale Atmosphäre schaffte. Ein weiteres Highlight war der Spa-Bereich, den wir ausprobieren durften. Das war ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis, da wir den gesamten Bereich für uns zwei alleine hatten! Die liebevolle Mitarbeiterin (ich denke, ihr Name ist Sara) hat uns herumgeführt und alles perfekt erklärt. Danach zog sie sich sehr feinfühlig zurück, damit wir vollkommen ungestört genießen konnten. Vielen Dank dafür! Last but not least, wir müssen die fantastische Lage nennen: Das Hotel ist ein absolutes Juwel, wenn es um die Lage in Rom geht. Es liegt in einer vollkommen ruhigen und friedlichen Oase, direkt neben dem Vatikan, der Papst ist hier praktisch der Nachbar! Zum Petersplatz oder zur Via della Conciliazione sind es nur wenige Schritte zu Fuß. Gleichzeitig ist man perfekt an das öffentliche Verkehrsnetz angebunden: Keine 200 Meter entfernt befinden sich zahlreiche Buslinien, mit denen man im Handumdrehen jeden Winkel der Stadt erreicht. Auch die malerischen Gassen von Trastevere, die imposante Engelsburg und der Tiber liegen direkt vor der Haustür. Für uns war es der absolut perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um die Ewige Stadt mit maximalem Komfort zu erkunden! Wir würden sehr, sehr, sehr gerne wiederkommen. Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage vor Ort und haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Vielen lieben Dank für ALLES! (Der Aufenthalt war Ende März 2026)”
