“Our stay at Meliá Phuket Mai Khao was honestly beyond anything we expected. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. At check-in, we were greeted with a lovely refreshing cold drink and chilled towels, which was such a thoughtful touch after travelling and immediately made us feel relaxed and looked after. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and incredibly well maintained. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered, and the entire property has such a relaxing, luxurious atmosphere. The service from the staff was exceptional. Everyone was so warm, attentive and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. You could really see how much care and pride the team puts into looking after both the resort and its guests. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and the staff were consistently attentive without being intrusive. The grounds were spotless and beautifully maintained, and everywhere we went was immaculate. Our room was absolutely amazing. It was spacious, beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable and had everything we could have wanted for a relaxing stay. It genuinely felt like our own private sanctuary, and we always looked forward to coming back to the room after a day of exploring Phuket. And the food deserves a special mention. Honestly, it was top tier. We were genuinely blown away by the quality, presentation and flavours throughout our stay. Some of the dishes were honestly Michelin-star level in our opinion. The food was beautifully presented, full of flavour and consistently excellent. Resort food can sometimes be hit or miss, but that was absolutely not the case here. We also stayed during September, which is rainy season in Phuket, and despite the unpredictable weather, we still had an amazing stay. The rain certainly didn’t take away from the experience. There were still plenty of opportunities to enjoy the resort, relax and explore, and the peaceful atmosphere actually made the occasional rainy periods quite enjoyable. We would absolutely consider returning during this time of year. I would especially recommend Meliá Phuket Mai Khao for a honeymoon, romantic getaway or couple’s retreat. It has such a peaceful and intimate atmosphere that makes it perfect for couples, but we also think it would be a fantastic choice for families with children, as there is something for everyone. Overall, Meliá Phuket Mai Khao completely exceeded our expectations. From the thoughtful welcome at check-in, incredible food and beautiful rooms to the exceptional service and spotless surroundings, every part of our stay was wonderful. Highly recommend this resort — we would absolutely stay here again!”
