“Things to improve, but on a good track.”

“In short words - it was amazing. To be more specific - we went here with two small children. Hotel is beautiful, full of perfectly kept plants, with pools stretched along the hotel area. It is next to the beach - another convenient thing when traveling with kids. Breakfasts offer wide variety of food that surely will fit anyone's needs. However what impressed us the most was the staff. Siri, Van and Max made this stay memorable. Everyday Siri or Van checked on us if everything is alright. Our kids were waiting to see them. Max shared lot of useful information and insights about the island and tips and tricks - he understood our needs and honestly advised what is worth doing and what quite the opposite (not often you get this thought through feedback). Last but not least, at the end of our stay, noisy guests moved in to the apartment next door. On the next morning, during the breakfast, Siri's deputy (shame we did not write down the name, cause she definitely deserves to be mentioned here as well) came by asking if everything was ok. We said it was almost perfect. Her reply is perfect description of how they work - "How can I make it perfect?". And they did - on the same day we got the room changed. This hotel, along with all the staff, definitely deserves 5/5. Thank you for memorable experience. We hope to see you again!”

“Struttura molto bella e curata nei particolari. La spiaggia è veramente bella e tranquilla. Colazione con cibi vari preparata con competenza. Ottima esperienza anche al ristorante in spiaggia dove abbiamo partecipato alla cena Thai che è stata veramente deliziosa e ci ha dato modo di assaggiare svariati piatti tipici preparati e presentati con cura. Il servizio e la gentilezza del personale da 5 stelle”

“We stayed at Melia Koh Samui for the second time at the beginning of February this year and can say that this hotel has already become our absolute favourite hotel. From check-in to check-out you simply feel safe and cared for. The service quality is amazing. We had the Grand Suite which comes with additional, very pleasant LEVEL-services. The suite is very spacious, very elegantly furnished and can be converted into 2 separate bedrooms. Choeng Mon Beach may not be the most famous beach on Koh Samui; for us this is almost perfect. There are countless dining and massage options just a few steps away. Chaweng can be reached by taxi in just a few minutes. The airport is around 10-15 minutes away without any interference from aircraft noise. All in all, the Melia in Koh Samui offers us all the advantages we could wish for and we will definitely come back!”

“Das Melia ist ein sehr schönes Hotel mit einem sehr guten Service. Wir hatten eine Bootsuite und waren froh darüber weil auf den Balkonen geraucht wurde und teilweise sehr Laute Musik gehört wurde. Das hätte uns sehr gestört. Wir haben davon zum Glück nichts bemerkt.”

“Beautiful hotel in a very peaceful location in koh Samui. I've been koh Samui about 30 times and have been to most places on the island. If you want a location that's not far from the main area of chewang and Lamai that is also far enough to have a very quiet peaceful experience the I would recommend here. The hotel is beautiful and very big, the breakfast is amazing and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is also a worker here called Baw who works at the pain pool area. Protect this man at all costs, he should be a natural treasure 🤣”

“It was just a short stay for us but throughout the check-in and check-out process, Khun K has been extremely helpful and friendly. This definitely elevated our experience at the hotel. Otherwise, the lazy river lived up to the comments. It's a kid friendly resort and location is also right next to the beach, which makes it very convenient. The only thing to nitpick is the quality of the food at the pool, which was mediocre and expensive.”

“Eine unvergessliche Zeit im Melia Koh Samui - Dank an das wunderbare Team! Ich durfte im letzten Jahr einen der schönsten Urlaube meines Lebens im Melia Koh Samui verbringen, und es hat ein Jahr gedauert, alles zu realisieren und meine Dankbarkeit in Worte zu fassen. Aber nun möchte ich endlich meine Erfahrungen teilen und mich ganz besonders bei einigen wunderbaren Menschen bedanken. Von der ersten Minute an habe ich mich im Melia Koh Samui willkommen und rundum wohlgefühlt. Besonders das "The Level"-Erlebnis war außergewöhnlich und bot mir viele exklusive Annehmlichkeiten, die meinen Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht haben. Was diesen Urlaub jedoch wirklich unvergesslich gemacht hat, waren die Mitarbeiter, die mit ihrer Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit alles übertroffen haben. Ein besonderer Dank geht an Baw und K.: Baw, der sich meist im Poolbereich um alles kümmerte, und K., der mich am Empfang mit seiner offenen, liebevollen Art willkommen hieß. Die beiden haben meinen Urlaub zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Mit ihrer Aufmerksamkeit und ihrem Engagement haben sie dafür gesorgt, dass ich mich nicht nur wie ein Gast, sondern wie eine Freund gefühlt habe. Die beiden machen das Melia noch mal zu etwas besonderem! Auch das gesamte Team im the level war großartig. Die ganzen Mitarbeiter haben uns jeden tag mit viel Herz behandelt. einzelne Mitarbeiter war unglaublich liebenswürdig und bemüht, meinen Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Atmosphäre im Hotel war geprägt von Wärme und Professionalität - eine perfekte Mischung. Ich vermisse euch alle sehr, besonders K. und Baw, die mir mit ihrer Herzlichkeit wirklich ans Herz gewachsen sind. Dank euch habe ich nicht nur einen traumhaften Urlaub erlebt, sondern auch Freunde fürs Leben gefunden. Ich freue mich schon jetzt darauf, wiederzukommen - ich zähle die Tage, bis ich euch alle wiedersehen kann! Vielen Dank für diese unvergesslichen Momente. Euer Kiki!”

“Great resort, we had a two storey boat house which was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was great and the eggs station was delicious. The beach was great and the pool was ok.”

“Good hotel in a nice location. The staff provides great service and care. Restaurant has a great food options from Thai to European food. Just 2 meters from the hotel there is a small Thai restaurant (island view) provides best fresh juices and the best red Pad Thai in Samui”

“Perfect spot for a nice long beach resort holiday in the sun with kids. It's only 10 minutes drive from the airport so you get more time in the sun. Direct access to the lovely beach (kids love playing in the sea) plus excellent main pool with loads of loungers (adults only section available too if you want peace and quiet). The 300m lazy river style pool is a highlight too, especially the small water slide which keeps the kids entertained for ages. The small but perfectly formed kids club is ideal amusement for kids aged 4-10 (drop off) and runs most of the day with a roster of fun things to do (highly craft-orientated). Key tip: pay the additional price to upgrade to The Level. Not only do you get direct pool access from your room but The Level is also an indoor space overlooking the pool and beach where you can get free snacks and drinks all day and even a great 2-hour food and drink package included in the evening (not quite enough for dinner but pretty close). The highlight of this stay for us was the staff. They are all lovely people who go beyond what is expected to give you a welcoming stay. Get plenty of cash out at the end of your stay because you'll have many people to tip! Can't wait to go back again soon”

“Lovely hotel, nice rooms and really clean, plus great breakfast options. All staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful, the hotel location is great and only a short drive from the airport, it is easy to access the rest of the island by scooter.”

“Rooms Very clean and the staff is very accommodating, polite and helpful. However, breakfast service and food was a downside for the amount of money you pay. Some Eggs either raw or overcooked, not Much variety over a period of 10 days. The only thing that changes on alternating days were some of the salads and the cheese. Besides, drinks and food are so expensive that makes it not worth it. They have such a beautiful setup that if the drinks and food costs around the pool area were reasonable, everyone would support the hotel and the hard working staff.”

“מלון מקסים!!! שרות מעולה של צוות המלון. מיקום מעולה 10 דק במונית לצ׳וונג. ארוחת בוקר מצויינת , מגוונת . התארחנו בחדר סירה , מעוצב יפה עם חדר אמבטיה ענק וחדר ארונות , בקומה השניה חדר שינה לא גדול . חסרה פינת ישיבה פנימית .. בחוץ יש מרפסת מקסימה שאי אפשר להיות בה כשיורד גשם🌧️. בדיעבד עדיף חדר עם מפלס אחד .”
