“Our stay at the Meliá Serengeti Lodge was amazing! We went for our honeymoon and everything about our stay was incredible – specifically our fantastic guide/driver, Vincent. We genuinely could not have asked for a better guide for our 5-day safari experience. Vincent was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and overall fun. He knew the best places to go and we saw SO many animals! We're convinced his experience and expertise played a large roll. He truly is the best! We hope to go back to the Serengeti at some point, and will most definitely be reaching out to Vincent when that time comes!”

“Un hotel de lujo que no descuida detalles, ha sido una experiencia increíble que se ha hecho muy corta, podría quedarme a vivir en este hotel, sin duda la mejor opción para hacer un Safari en Serengueti es contratar el servicio completo con la cadena Meliá, no les faltará detalle para que la experiencia sea de lujo y muy segura.
Martin, Andrea y su equipo, nos han tratado con mucho amor , el verdadero lujo de este hotel está en la energía de su personal que siempre sonríe: Izack fue el chofer y guía de los safaris de la zona te hará aprender cosas increíbles de la zona y de sus animales , está aprendiendo español y lo habla muy bien.”

“Do not hesitate about which hotel to book in The Serengeti and book this today! The Melia Serengeti lodge is the most spectacular hotel we have ever stayed in! The Staff, service, facilities, ambience, views, food were all incredible! The staff are the most genuine and kind people you will ever meet and will do anything to give you the most seamless experience! During downtime, the pool area is modern, comfy and with views of the Savannah for miles which is absolutely priceless! Our room overlooked the Savannah and to wake up to that everyday seeing the wildlife made us feel exceptionally lucky! The hotel organised all 4 of ours game drives, hot air balloon safari, transfers to & from the Seronera airstrip & bush dinner which made us feel so comfortable and at ease! Our driver Erasto from Dolphin Tours & Safaris was exceptional with an amazing eye for animal spotting and just a really kind person who also wanted to give us the best experience! If I could give this hotel a higher rating, I would because it is that special!
A special mention to all of the staff who we had the pleasure to engage with during our stay; Andrea, Yusuph, Jesca, Jesca, Cha-Cha, Peter, Martin, Nathan, Ally. Thank you all so much for your service and we can’t wait to visit you again.

“El hotel, en relación con los otros de este nivel que hemos visitado, tiene un valor diferencial. La concepción arquitectónica como balcón a la sabana es innegable, hasta el más mínimo detalle está pensado con toda la intención de entrar en el espíritu Masai, pero lo que acaba dando vida y personalidad propia a la experiencia en el Meliá Serengeti Lodge es un grupo humano infalible. Hay cosas que no se contratan: la sonrisa, la disponibilidad, la paciencia, el humor. Sientes que la sabana es tu casa. Increíble. Me gustaría dar algunos nombres propios. Comenzaré por Martín Frois, un director de orquesta no intrusivo que dirige desde abajo, desde el compromiso con la cercanía y la elegancia. Te abre los ojos a otra realidad y te desvela expectativas que no habías ni imaginado. Andrea y su charla atenta nos consiguió poner relieves cercanos a todo lo que divisábamos. Seguiré con Sandoa, el Masai que nos convenció de que los leones que podrían acecharnos tenían "no option" con él, y el que nos descubrió en un safari a pie que nos ofreció Martín, los tipos de relación entre los árboles y el reto a los búfalos con su capa roja a su atenta mirada. Aún recuerdo las carcajadas de la gendarme Cristina que nos escoltaba con sus ocurrencias y su humor. La elegancia excepcional de la camarera Senia (no sé si digo bien) con su serena sonrisa cada mañana. La doble guardia de Sandoa y Daniele la última cena en el balcón más expuesto a la sabana del hotel , nos hizo sentir más que protección compañía astral divisando los incendios controlados de la sabana. Daudy, el camarero de la cena de gala, sirvió el menú a la brasa con una distinción sobrecogedora. Por cierto, la hoguera circular alrededor de la cual se disponen las mesas de la terraza "Boma" que presidió nuestra primera cena es sencillamente una conexión irrepetible con la nocturnidad, el despojamiento y la camaradería entre el riesgo y el placer. Dicen que viajamos para poder realizar una mudanza interior. La historia que cuenta el Meliá Serengeti Lodge es un relato perfectamente dispuesto para que puedan pasar cosas. Es un escenario que crea una ambiente propicio para el despojamiento, para que los lastres y las cuitas se vayan desprendiendo , y que nos permitió regresar a casa con la sonrisa Masai que apuesta por cada detalle de aquí y ahora. Esa decisión de relacionarse instantáneamente y a fondo. Como la palabra de origen zulú "Sikkhona" ("aquí estamos") y que nos hace sentir presencia, conexión y pertenencia cuando nos preguntan "Sawubona" ("te veo"), Gracias Martín, gracias equipo, vinimos a saber, vinimos a desaprender y ya podemos contarlo. Os hemos visto. Aquí estamos.”
