“Familienfreundlich mit großem Aber! Wir verbrachten unseren Familienurlaub im Playa Esperanza Resort by Meliá auf Mallorca und waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel punktet mit einer hervorragenden Lage, großzügigen und sauberen Zimmern, einer gepflegten Anlage sowie vielen Angeboten für Familien mit Kindern. Unser vierjähriges Kind fühlte sich wohl, und auch wir konnten viele entspannte Momente genießen. Der Großteil des Personals war freundlich, hilfsbereit und professionell. Umso bedauerlicher ist eine Situation, die so in einem ausgewiesenen Familienhotel schlicht nicht passieren darf. Wir hatten für einen Ausflug eine frühe Exkursion gebucht. Zwei Tage im Voraus klärten wir mit der Rezeption ausdrücklich ab, dass wir an einem bestimmten Tag ein früheres Frühstück gegen 7:00 Uhr benötigen würden. Uns wurde dies bestätigt. Am besagten Morgen kam es jedoch zu einer sehr unangenehmen Szene: Der Koch, Salvador, reagierte äußerst ungehalten, beschimpfte uns regelrecht und äußerte lautstark seinen Unmut darüber, dass „jemand so früh komme“ und direkt seine Pfannkuchen esse. Dies geschah vor unserem vierjährigen Kind und war sowohl im Ton als auch im Inhalt vollkommen inakzeptabel. Unabhängig von internen Abläufen oder persönlichen Befindlichkeiten: Gäste — insbesondere Familien mit kleinen Kindern — dürfen in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie nicht mit Frust oder Ärger konfrontiert werden, schon gar nicht nach vorheriger Absprache mit der Rezeption. Diese einzelne, aber prägende Erfahrung trübt leider den ansonsten sehr positiven Gesamteindruck. Das Management sollte hier dringend nachschärfen, denn Servicequalität zeigt sich gerade in den Randmomenten. Fazit: Ein sehr schönes Familienhotel mit viel Potenzial — doch ein derartiger Vorfall darf sich in einem Haus dieser Klasse nicht wiederholen.”See more reviews

“We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel grounds are beautiful, without crowds or fight over sunbeds. The biggest plus is the location. We stayed in a suite, where everything was new and nicely decorated. The hotel cats with their own area its a really plus. It would be nice if the hotel provided a veterinarian. The cats were sick, had skin problems and a runny nose. Please take care of them, they also need to be neutered.”See more reviews
