Meliá Palma Marina

“Location is excellent! Beautiful views over the Marina, quiet yet close enough to the bars etc. rooms were dated but clean. City view isn’t much to look at, I’d recommend getting a sea view. Good selection of items in mini bar. Hair dryer great and lots of wardrobe space. Food at the pool bar was good quality, good price and service was great. Drinks at pool bar were basic and service was very slow. Drinks in the reception bar great quality and service was quick. Hotel lobby is elegant and welcoming. Reception staff were very efficient and friendly. However the night security/porter was an awful man! Very unfriendly, Very rude and aggressive, attempting to throw a bucket of water over half of our group whilst they were awaiting the rest of the group to arrive, before telling us noone is allowed to wait in the lobby area. However the female security/porter was welcoming and friendly. Swimming pool is a lively chill space and again great views. Friendly lifeguard. Lots of lifts and easy access to rooms. Breakfast buffet selection was fantastic. Always tables available and friendly staff.”

“We have just returned from a two night stay at the Melia Palma Marina and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff were so attentive. We had booked a Level Sea View room and on arrival we were taken up to the Level lounge to check in. Everything was seamless and our room was ready for us so we were able to check in straight away. The view from our room was amazing and sitting on the balcony looking over the marina was very relaxing. The hotel is ideally situated, 20 mins in a taxi from the airport about a 25 min walk into Palma and the Cathedral but there are bus stops en route along the marina. The staff are a credit to the hotel and Lorena on the level lounge reception was extremely friendly and helpful, she is a real asset. German was also super helpful at check in and having such friendly helpful staff puts you at ease when visiting a new hotel. We would certainly recommend this hotel for a stay in Palma and will hopefully be back to visit in the future.”

“Great location, good overall service, but there were few small issues throughout the stay. Good room service, great cleaning, I even left some money on display by mistake and nothing went missing, a small mistake with the credit card that the staff fixed in under a minute so no complaints. The only real downside was the mattress, it was beyond uncomfortable, so if you have any back issues, think twice before booking (I am not huge and the strings kept digging into my thigh, so uncomfortable).”
