“The staff is polite and welcoming. The building is in reasonably good condition with great amenities. You will be a minute away from one the main railway stations, the underground and the city's busiest bus terminal. So it is ideal if you planning to do some independent exploring not only of Lisbon but also further away. There is one of the biggest shopping centres in lisbon also in the same area and if you enjoy discounted brands the bus to take you to Freeport Outlet is also at the same bus terminal. While you are there take a look at Parque das Naçoes and enjoy finding your own flag and taking a stroll along the Tagus where you will find distractions for the family such as the City Aquarium. There are plenty of restaurants around and if you are on a budget just go to the 'Continente' supermarket to find already made meals, salads and tapas which you can take to the hotel. However the breakfast at the hotel serves a nice buffet breakfast so I would advise you to include this option. The bedroom was OK, there bed was a safe and a small fridge available. The bed was comfortable though I was unlucky to have noisy guests nearby playing loud music after 10.30pm. Reported it to staff but they seem to have limited powers to stop antisocial behaviour. Overall I would still return to this hotel because it was good value for money.”See more reviews

“Mi experiencia en el Meliá Lisboa Oriente fue sencillamente fantástica. La habitación era elegante, amplia, muy luminosa y estaba impecable, cuidando cada detalle de la limpieza. A pesar de estar en una zona con tanta vida, el descanso está totalmente garantizado: no se escucha ni un solo ruido del exterior y la cama es extremadamente cómoda, ideal para reponer fuerzas tras un día de turismo. La ubicación es inmejorable y estratégica, situada justo al lado de la estación de tren y autobús de Oriente. Además, a unos pasos tienes el centro comercial Vasco da Gama, una inmensa variedad de restaurantes para elegir y el precioso Parque das Nações, un lugar idílico para pasear junto al río. Por último, pero lo más importante, los empleados son maravillosos.
