Meliá Braga thinks of everything. That’s why we also want the little ones to be entertained and have fun like never before in a hotel. They will have a playground with a slide and swings, and a special space in the lobby with tables, a 32-inch LCD TV with cartoons and drawing materials.

As one of the oldest cities in Portugal, Braga is also one of its main religious centres. Known as the "Portuguese Rome", it is the third largest city in the country and has more than 30 churches. Its vibrant history dates back to Roman times when it was called Bracara Augusta and was the capital of the province of Galicia in Spain.

“5 estrelas. Será a qualidade do atendimento? A formação e apresentação dos funcionários? A rapidez e eficiência do serviço? A limpeza? A manutenção? A qualidade dos quartos? A roupa de cama? O silêncio? A gastronomia? A qualidade e variedade do pequeno-almoço? E isto leva-me a uma questão maior. No cuidado.

Sin duda, repetiré mi estancia en Meliá Braga.”See more reviews

Every autumn, Munich hosts one of the most famous popular celebrations in the world: the Oktoberfest. For just over two weeks, the Theresienwiese (meaning "Theresa's Meadow", and the large esplanade where the Oktoberfest is held, a tradition that began in 1810 with the wedding of the then Crown Prince Ludwig of Bavaria and Theresa of Saxe-Hildburghausen) becomes a huge fair where large beer tents coexist with Bavarian gastronomy, live music, attractions, and traditions that have been part of the city's identity for over two centuries. And although beer is one of its main protagonists, the Oktoberfest is also an opportunity to get closer to the culture and customs of Bavaria.
