“Melia is located in the city center. All walking distance to several shopping malls and restaurants. 15 minutes from Chinatown. The property very fresh and clean. The room is spacious and spotless. A/C is in excellent working condition. The sitting area against the window is a chic touch. Bed is very comfy with high quality linen. Bathroom is very comfortable with large thick towels and all basic needs. Getting a taxi or Grab is a breeze. The staff from valet to all the way up are all so welcoming. The receptionist, Khanh, is worth mentioning for being professional, kind, helpful with every question asked. Every word is spoken with a nice smile. Simply exceptional. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel with your next visit. The room is equipped with 3 prong (flat) outlets that would not work with the 2 prongs. Bring one or pick one up at the nearby stores for a few dollars.”

If you can, choose Level; from 5 pm to 7 pm they have great snacks for a continental meal and a change from the usual KL food. The Level staff are lovely and always happy to help. “We had a nice stay at Melia KL . The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is situated in a great area for walking around and exploring. The HopOn bus is right around the corner too! There is a huge shopping mall across the street so the area has everything you need! Thank you Sazali Abdullah for keeping our room sparkly clean!!”

“The staffs are all very friendly and helpful. Location is fantastic. Rooms are generally good and clean. Breakfast can be better, highly suggest to look for nearby breakfast place instead. Sometimes elevator takes some waiting. Swimming pool is on the small side but a 24 hr gym is a plus. Overall, i would return to stay again when i visit KL”

The room was always impeccably maintained, and his efforts did not go unnoticed—he set a wonderful tone for the overall experience. One of the highlights was the premium lounge, which elevated the experience even further. The lounge itself is beautifully maintained, offering a calm and comfortable atmosphere—perfect for unwinding or getting some work done while enjoying a selection of refreshments. What really stood out in the lounge was the exceptional service. Titu and Bruce were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout my visits. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, always greeting guests with warmth and genuine hospitality. Overall, the premium lounge is a fantastic addition, and the outstanding service from staff like Jabbar, Titu, and Bruce made my stay truly special. “Stayed in a 'Level' room on the 17th floor. The room was very clean thanks to Jabbar. The Level lounge is good and food excellent, you are limited to two alcoholic drinks per person per night, which was fine for us. The lounge wasn't busy, both Titu and Bruce were very attentive and quick to serve us. Breakfast is served in 'The Kitchen' and did feel a little chaotic at times but if you get up early it's quieter. One area which could be improved would be the WiFi speed, which was 10MB/s no matter where I tested it in the hotel. Location is great, with Imbi MRT station just out side the main entrance. Even on the 17th floor you do hear constant road noise, especially at night, but you are in a major city so I suppose you have to expect it.”

“First time staying at this hotel upon recommendation from family. Stayed at the LEVEL ROOM. Location & hotel are very good. Please keep up the good service and the cleanliness of the guest rooms. The air-con of the room could be upgraded as during midday the room will be feeling abit hot even though temperature are at 19 deg. The room Wi‑Fi are good. The room attendant, Jaabar, the Front Office team and bellboys are doing a great job. The breakfast are good except some dishes which are kind of abit salty. Will definitely stay again in the future.”

“We stayed at Melia KL from the 4th to 6th of March 2026. - The location is great, very close to Bukit Bintang, perfect for shopping and food spree ! :) - The front desk team is very welcoming, courteous and efficient - Our room was big, city view, clean, exactly what we needed for 2 nights - On our last day, on the evening before catching our taxi to KLIA I had food poisonning and was sick in the lobby. The team took care of me, especially the lady on the evening shift, who made sure I was okay and brought me warm water. I can not thank you enough for that <3 very much appreciated. My only negative points are : - Room service is not organized. We ordered food at 10.30pm, 2 club sandwiches, 1 plain and 1 without bacon and eggs. They told food would be served within 30min max. We waited more than 1hr to receive cold food (which is ok for the sandwich but not for the fries) and one sandwich without chicken. Very disappointing... - The television is small and outdated, malfuctioning which is disappointing when you need background noise or want to check out the news.”

“Room aircon is not strong. Mr Bruce (front desk staff) brought me to at least 3 rooms and surprisingly all got weak aircon. KL is humid to have weak aircons. However, I will like to commend Mr Bruce for this professionalism and patience in executing his duties.”

“I stayed at Melia for 4 nights while taking my child for treatment at Gleneagles KL. The location is quite convenient—just an 8–10 minute Grab ride. It’s strategically situated directly opposite Berjaya Times Square, making it very easy to find food for my child. However, above all else, what made our stay truly enjoyable was Solaiman, our housekeeper, who always kept our room impeccably clean and attentive. He is also very friendly and ensures that we have everything we need for a comfortable stay. Solaiman deserves a raise, dear Melia KL Management.”

“We are delighted to be returning to Melia Kuala Lumpur to stay again as the service and location is always spot on. Staff of Melia always impresses us especially Ms.Tati, Mr.Agilan, and Mr Amerul who always made us feel more than welcome to be "home" in KL. Our housekeeping attendant Mr.Fallan has always ensured our room is cleaned quickly and neatly knowing we will always return early to rest. He checks on us to make sure we have all we need in our room to be comfortable. Thank you Melia Kuala Lumpur for making my family and I feel more than comfortable. Chris Room 1408 26-30 March 2026”

“We stay here regularly as it is a great location close to everything and it is not too expensive. This year was good and the young man doing our rooms called Solaiman was particularly helpful and nothing was too much for him. This can make quite a difference to your stay when the rooms are clean and everything is working. Will stay here again next time.”
