“One hotel where the price truly feels worth every penny — the unobstructed views of the falls throughout the day are simply unforgettable. I would absolutely stay here again, and honestly, probably nowhere else if I return to Iguazú. This was an Amex Platinum FHR property, which came with a $150 spa credit, early check-in, late checkout (4 PM), and a complimentary room upgrade — all of which made the experience even better. 1. The experience: It starts right from the moment your cab pulls up to the entrance. I can still remember seeing the falls from the car window, right through the hotel’s glass entrance doors, while my driver said, “Here is your falls view.” Walking into the lobby genuinely feels like stepping into a grand cinematic scene. 2. The rooms: The rooms face the falls and come with balconies, and even the bathroom has unobstructed views. There’s a privacy curtain you can pull down when needed, of course. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped. 3. Infinity pool: Absolutely amazing and huge. One of the highlights of the property. 4. Sky Bar: Easily one of the best sunset spots overlooking the falls. A perfect way to end the day. 5. The staff: One of the best parts of the stay. Everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Hospitality at its best. Despite how busy the property gets, they always seemed to have time for you before moving on to the next guest. 6. Food: Tasty, high quality, and with plenty of options. Both indoor and outdoor dining areas are available, which makes every meal feel special with the surrounding scenery. 7. Spa & gym: The massage itself was good, but the overall spa experience was even better. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, especially the receptionist at the spa. Even the gym is wonderful and has falls views. 8. Laundry: Surprisingly inexpensive for a luxury 5-star property. 9. Wildlife: You will very often see monkeys wandering around the balconies, especially around sunset time. They are not aggressive at all, but it’s still important to keep your balcony doors locked when you leave the room. 10. Location: You are literally staying inside the national park. The walk to the entrances and circuits is about 5 minutes. Staying here also gives you the advantage of early park entry and late exit access, which can be extremely valuable during busy seasons. You only need to purchase the park ticket once upon entry on day one. Honestly, I could come back here just to relax and stare at the falls all day long. It’s difficult to fully describe the feeling — it almost feels therapeutic.”

“Highly recommend Meliá Iguazú! My stay here was much better than at the Belmond across the river. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful — not just professionally polite, but truly sincere in the way they took care of guests. The views are absolutely breathtaking. You can see Iguazú Falls from the hotel, and the scenery in the morning and at sunset is unforgettable. The spa was also a big highlight, with a hydrotherapy pool and sauna, perfect for relaxing after visiting the falls. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the service, views, and facilities. I would definitely choose Meliá Iguazú again next time.”

“La vista es la protagonista ahora lo que cobran la habitación y el costo de los restaurantes es una locura, muy por arriba de cualquier restaurante internacional y no vale la pena…. Hermosa vista y pileta el resto no está a la altura de mi que cobran.”

“Such an amazing stay! The view is beautiful and it is so easy to access the park. We bought one entry ticket and were able to see the falls all three days. The food is great and the staff are wonderful. They create a beautiful and relaxing experience. I would highly recommend the cocktail class. It is free and you get to learn about the drinks that are popular in both Brazil and Argentina, as well as getting many drinks as part of the class. Special shoutout to Luciano, Andrea and Yanaina they were so kind and very knowledgeable about the drinks we made. We had the best time participating in the class:) Such an amazing weekend, I hope to come back one day!”
