“Wonderful stay — warm hospitality and a fantastic location We had a great stay at Hotel Saranda Butrinti by Meliá and really enjoyed our time here. The location is fantastic, right at the start of the Sarandë promenade, so you can simply walk out of the hotel and explore the waterfront, restaurants and cafés on foot. What immediately stood out was the hospitality. We arrived with our 3½-year-old son and were welcomed by a smiling, friendly receptionist who made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. We were also very kindly upgraded to a Deluxe Suite, which was a wonderful surprise and set the tone for our stay. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, and the staff throughout our stay were warm and helpful. There are, however, two areas where I think the hotel could improve. Some parts of the property are beginning to feel a little dated and would benefit from renovation and modernisation. The biggest area for improvement is definitely breakfast. For a hotel of this standard, breakfast was disappointing and needs considerably better quality, variety and presentation. It simply didn’t match the rest of our experience. That said, we really enjoyed our stay. The warm hospitality, generous upgrade, comfortable suite and brilliant promenade location made this a very positive experience. With some renovation and a significantly improved breakfast, this could easily be a 10/10 hotel. Would happily stay here again.”See more reviews
