“Sol Barbacan is the kind of accomodation that guests keep returning to year after year. Since 2022, we have booking several times each year, and also the reservations for 2027 have already been made!Every time we arrive at Sol Barbacan it feels a bit like coming home. But why do we (and many other guests) keep coming back? For sure the staff is helpful and the bungalows we always rent are well equipped and kept clean by very friendly cleaning women. And yes, the pools are great and the evening buffet is varied and always very tasty. But I believe the real reason why guests are returning to Sol Barbacan is strongly related to the animation team: Max, Naira, Carlos and Miriam. This great team is in direct contact with the guests on a daily basis and by doing so they are the ones giving Sol Barbacan a real (friendly) face and making it a “home away from home”. A small example: when my wife and I arrived at Sol Barbacan two weeks ago, Naira greeted us already from quite some distance—she even knew our names, despite us having only met her twice in February and April! Thát is what it feels like to come home! Unfortunately I must admit that during my last visit (October) the animation activities seemed to have changed to some extent and I feel it used to be better in the past… Maybe some food for thought? In any case, we keep coming back to Sol Barbacan and sincerely hope to be greeted each time by Barbacan’s fantastic animation team of Max, Naira, Carlos, and Miriam!!”See hotel
