The current Meliá selection brings together a single establishment in the province, actually located in Begur, within the setting of the Costa Brava.
| Hotel | Category | Highlights |
|---|---|---|
| Hotel Eetu Begur Affiliated by Meliá | 4-star hotel, Adults Only 14+ | Heated outdoor pool, spa, sauna, Mediterranean cuisine and location in Aiguablava |
Hotel Eetu Begur Affiliated by Meliá has a profile that is particularly consistent with a stay for two because it combines the Adults Only 14+ policy with spaces oriented towards rest. Its heated outdoor pool has salt water and is surrounded by gardens, with areas to relax outdoors.
The wellness area incorporates spa and Finnish sauna, which allows you to alternate outings along the Costa Brava with quieter moments inside the hotel. The gastronomic proposal is inspired by Mediterranean dishes and those of the Costa Brava itself, with service on a terrace with views of the surroundings.
The rooms present different characteristics according to category. Some offer sea views, a balcony or terrace, so it is advisable to choose them expressly if the landscape has a special weight in the honeymoon or anniversary.
This set of elements allows you to plan a getaway where privacy, wellness and the sea occupy a central place, without the need to fill every day with activities.
Although this page is structured under the entity Girona, Hotel Eetu Begur Affiliated by Meliá is actually in Begur, in the province of Girona and within the Costa Brava. This geographical precision is important to understand the type of trip the hotel proposes.
Its address is in the Aiguablava area, close to small coves and the Mediterranean landscape characteristic of Begur. The official fact sheet places Cala Malaret a short distance from the establishment and the centre of Begur several kilometres away.
The old town of Begur provides another contrast to the stay: historic streets, local architecture and an atmosphere different from that of the beach areas. Thus, a romantic getaway in Girona can be built here around two complementary landscapes: the coves of the Costa Brava and the interior of the town.
The hotel acts as a point of union between both, with a pool, wellness and gastronomy to return to after touring the surroundings.
Girona-Costa Brava Airport is one of the main air references for reaching this area. The official fact sheet for Hotel Eetu Begur Affiliated by Meliá places it about 58 kilometres away. Aena also confirms that the airport has road, bus and taxi connections with Girona and various points on the Costa Brava.
The actual time to Begur depends on traffic and the means of transport chosen.
For a couple's getaway, spring and early autumn allow you to combine walks, coves and outdoor life with a pace generally more focused on the landscape. Summer gives greater prominence to the sea and the pool. Before the trip, it is advisable to check the weather and seasonal services.
As there is only one hotel in this cluster, the decision depends above all on checking whether the profile of Begur and the Costa Brava fits the getaway you are looking for. The Adults Only character, the spa and the heated pool can be especially relevant if privacy and rest have more weight than an intense agenda.
On this page, the experience is especially concentrated in Begur and the Costa Brava. You can combine tours of the coves, walks through the old town and moments of rest at Hotel Eetu Begur Affiliated by Meliá, with a heated pool, spa and sauna.
Begur may fit if you are looking for a coastal getaway where the Mediterranean landscape and tranquillity take centre stage. Hotel Eetu Begur Affiliated by Meliá also adds an Adults Only 14+ atmosphere, wellness and gastronomy.
The current Meliá selection for this cluster includes Hotel Eetu Begur Affiliated by Meliá, located in Begur, province of Girona. It is not in the city of Girona, but on the Costa Brava, near Aiguablava.
There is no objectively better option for all couples. The current Meliá selection includes only Hotel Eetu Begur Affiliated by Meliá, a 4-star Adults Only hotel with spa, sauna and heated pool. Its suitability depends on whether you are looking for a coastal and wellness stay.
For a honeymoon or anniversary, privacy, atmosphere, views and wellness spaces can be relevant. In this case, the Adults Only character, the spa, the heated pool and some rooms with sea views reinforce the profile of Hotel Eetu Begur Affiliated by Meliá for a celebration as a couple.
