Meliá Serengeti Lodge

If you are visiting the Serengeti, staying at the Meliá Serengeti Lodge is an experience I would recommend without hesitation. Our stay here was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Tanzania. The lodge itself is beautiful. Our room was spotless and had an incredible view of the Serengeti that we never got tired of waking up to. The food was excellent throughout our stay, and the staff were very accommodating with our dietary preferences. Every meal and interaction felt thoughtful and welcoming. A few team members made the experience especially memorable. Mosses, the Guest Experience Supervisor, clearly takes great pride in creating an outstanding safari experience. Our guide and driver Izack was phenomenal. His knowledge of the Serengeti was impressive, and he made it a point to help us find the specific animals we hoped to see. Each game drive with him was an unforgettable experience. The food and beverage team were also wonderful, and Steven the mixologist made some excellent cocktails that we looked forward to each evening. This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for my wife and me, and the team at Meliá Serengeti Lodge made it even more special than we imagined. We left with incredible memories and would gladly stay here again. Stayed here for 2 nights and had the most magical time ever. i have severe food allergies to Dairy,Nuts,Wheat, Fish and Shellfish so I was very nervous to travel to a more remote destination and had a lot of anxiety around the food aspect. Sure enough I was greeted by Chef Marcos the head chef! He came out to speak to me and was such a great communicator. Made me feel very safe and reassured me he would cook a safe and delicious meals. Easy to say that he did, the food was absolutely incredible. Not too mention he was very personable and shared some crazy stories with us! I get the honor to say I made a great friend from this experience and likewise Amos another member of the staff was very friendly and genuinely hilarious. We were only there for a 2 night stay but for those 2 nights we had such a personal experience and everyone was no kind and nice stuff, left my family and I with some great memories to share and bring back home. If you are looking for THE place to stay at Ngorongoro Crater this is IT!!!

Nuestra estancia en Meliá Serengeti Lodge fue simplemente inolvidable. Viajamos en familia y la experiencia superó completamente nuestras expectativas. La atención fue impecable: siempre amables, atentos y dispuestos a ayudar en todo lo que necesitábamos. Muy cariñosos y atentos con nuestros 2 hijos. Es una maravilla encontrar hoteles así. La habitación nos encantó. Era amplia, cómoda y perfectamente integrada en el entorno natural del Serengeti, con unas vistas espectaculares que hacían que cada amanecer fuera especial. La estancia en general fue muy tranquila y relajante, ideal para disfrutar en familia después de los safaris. La comida fue otro punto fuerte. Además, los lunch box que preparaban para los días de safari fueron excelentes: completos, prácticos y muy bien organizados, lo que nos permitió disfrutar al máximo de las excursiones sin preocuparnos por nada. La situación del hotel está en una ubicación excelente, con unas vistas inmejorables desde la terraza, comedor a la sabana, hemos pasado unos días inolvidables gracias a todo el personal , que aparte de las instalaciones y el entorno lo que es destacable la amabilidad, el respeto y la calidad humana de todo el personal sintiéndonos en cada momento tan bien recibidos cuidados y atendidos así como a su director John, y la simpatía de David también tuvimos un magnífico guía-conductor Ismael , que se esforzó en que viéramos todo tipo de animales consiguiéndolo. Destacar la amabilidad de toda la gente. Será muy difícil superar esta experiencia. Gracias a todos.

Ha sido una de las mejores experiencias de nuestra vida, este hotel se encuentra en un lugar magico que esta totalmente integrado en la sabana, puedes incluso escuchar toda clase de animales desde tu habitación. El personal no puede ser mas atento y amable, te hacen sentir como en casa. Gracias en especial al general manager John y a David el jefe de recepción. Se podria decir que ha sido el mejor hotel en el que he estado en mi vida, muchas gracias a todos y cada uno de los integrantes de este gran equipo.
