“We booked a Family Concierge room with swim out for 8 days. I love the architecture of the place, it feels modern and luxurious. The staffs were very nice, helpful and very attentive to every details, even smaller ones. A big shout out to Miguel at the guest concierge desk for being always cheerful and helpful with everything. Our concierge Tiara was lovely. She was very kind and always have an answer to our questions. Thank you for the birthday decorations, it really made the day feel so special. We love the vibe on the adult side when we had our hydrotherapy spa appointment, it's elegant and quieter than the family side. We went back again during our datenight at Sal steak cave, the decor was marvelous, the food was mouth watering. I still dream of that dark chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream. A big thank you to the team at the Nespresso bar as we don't really drink alcohol, they are always giving us a fast and reliable service with a smile. It's probably one of the highlights of our stay. Our kid enjoyed the Aquazone at the beginning, but definitely prefer the swim out towards the end of our stay, it's more convenient. The Lunch Box was okay, but we liked the Celcius better due to the proximity and fast service. The fish tacos and chicken wings there are the best! It's probably the perfect resort to go with a family if you have kids.”See more reviews

“Parent of a 5 and 8 year old mom review for if you are considering booking- (we visited non-peak season in October, so keep that in mind) 1. The rooms are kept very clean. Cleaned once a day then a turn down service at night. 2. There are tons of towels and we used the pool towels when we went on excursions, no problem. 3. There is a gift shop at the hotel that you can get sunscreen and bug spray but it is EXPENSIVE. Either bring yours OR grab a taxi and go down to a market and buy. If you plan to to swimming with turtles or Xcaret park, bring reef friendly mineral sunscreen. 4. The pools were nice and we were able to get spaces next to them. I could see during peak season this being harder to do. For us traveling this time of year Family Concierge was not worth it because everything is accessible, but I could see that being a different story during busy seasons. 5. The food is okay. The buffet is accessible whenever but the booking system for dinners was a bit of a mess, but we figured it out in a day or two. They have kid friendly options at all family restaurants, but none of the food is mind blowing, so if youre a real foodie with kids and are not going to the adult only restaurants plan to be fed and its fine, but nothing amazing. 6. The kids club seemed great. Our kids did not do much with them, but they are well organized and I would have felt safe leaving them. There's one for 4 under and one for 5 to 11. They will even take them to the pool or for a buffet meal if you want to leave them during those times. 7. The bugs this time of year are bad. We were using a lot of spray and still got a few mosquito bites, maybe worse this time of year because it's a bit more wet. 8. The hotel has lots of raccoons, cats and coatis they cruise around trying to share lunch with you and are very used to humans. The kids just loved watching them and were for our furry- friend loving family a real bonus. 9. Location is nice. You kind of feel when you drive in "urm i think this part of town isnt great " but it feels very safe in the resort and each time we took a taxi out to the 5th Ave area or to an excursion, we felt safe and the people are very nice. It gets a lot nicer a few blocks from the hotel. 10. Xcaret was a huge win for us. We loved it and the show was incredible. Again, it was fairly quiet at the park due to some rain showers and off-season and I wonder how it would feel when busy season. All in all, I'd give it 8/10.”See more reviews
