There are chefs who tell stories; Ettore Botrini and his team tell stories about memories. Son of an Italian father and Greek mother, our Michelin-starred chef cooks as a way of communication and expression of his inner world. Connected with nature, the environment and family traditions, his dishes reflect the places where he has lived.

Focused on local ingredients, sustainability and balanced creativity, the Ettore Botrini team works every day to offer a holistic and emotional experience, combining tradition, innovation, technique and personal memory. Thanks to cooperation with local producers, each of our dishes uses the finest ingredients to transform authentic Italian cuisine, enriched with flavors from Greece, into a most intense dining experience.
At the heart of Café Mondo, an indoor lounge welcomes you with a warm and sophisticated ambience. Natural light gently filters through the orange marquees in the atrium, bathing every corner in a welcoming light. Wood, marble and Italian design details combine with timeless elegance to create a space where the hustle and bustle of Athens is left behind.

Where Athens flirts with la dolce vita
Under the orange marquees in the atrium, both indoors and outdoors, watch the Athenian city dance to its own beat. And you inadvertently begin to join in the beat with the aromas of intense espressos, sumptuous brunches, evening snacks, clinking cocktails and dinners with soul. Flavors from all over Italy, with a Greek and international flair. Welcome to Café Mondo. Welcome to the Ettore Botrini house.
