“I have to say, I was worried about the bad reviews until we got to the hotel. We actually had a great time. Food was great, lots of variety everyday and we never got food poisoning. As someone who goes to a lot of resorts, this is rare. Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean, drinks were nice and nobody ever bothered us for tips. We never saw any cockroaches and we had a large room with bedroom and living room. I think people complain too much these days. Obviously this is not a 5 star resort, you're not exactly paying 5 star prices. I would definitely visit here again. My only complaint is that the beach is super far and under a different hotel, therefore cant get food there, just drinks. But as the weather was windy while we were there, we only stayed by the pools anyway. You also need to pay for towels, but get refunded at the end of stay if you return them all. Overall, we enjoyed our vacation and had a great time while there.”

“Our room wasn't ready at checkin time. Our room hasn't been cleaned for several days which means the rubbish was not taken away, towels not changed... even if the hotel says they would replace them every 2 days... so we asked at the reception in the morning for cleaning of the room, we came back from the dirtiest trip to find out our room was not cleaned. Cleaning standard ... terrible... receptionist ... non comprende... Food has been good so far, drinks great, beach bar great, beach nice...not even 4 stars for that lack of cleaning and receptionist who barely speaks English...”

“Sol Dunas was an amazing and peaceful retreat on a small island, perfect for my first overseas holiday since my celiac diagnosis in 2021! I was worried about the food, but the incredible team, especially Keila and Paulo, treated me like a princess, ensuring I had delicious and safe meals. Other guests even noticed the exceptional care I received! The rooms were spotless, staff friendly, and sunbeds well-maintained. This perfectly sized hotel, connected to its sister property, offered us the best experience while other guests grumbled. “Highly recommend this hotel. Staff were fantastic. My partner is celiac and the restaurant staff were phenomenal. Special thanks to Paulo, Keila, Ilviane ans Gildo who made sure all her meals were gluten-free and cooked seperately. Absolutely outdtanding service!”
