SOL Dunas Family Fun concentrates a good part of its proposal around the water. It has outdoor pools, a shallow area for the little ones and a splash park. Guests can also access certain water areas of the neighbouring Meliá Dunas complex, including the slides subject to their corresponding height restrictions.
The three hotels are located in the south of Sal Island, near Santa Maria. This area allows you to combine the resorts' pool areas with Atlantic beaches and visits to one of the main tourist hubs on the island.
Santa Maria beach is one of the destination's coastal benchmarks, although the three properties are not located exactly on the same beach. From this part of the island, you can also organise tours to other landscapes on Sal.
Among them, the Pedra de Lume salt pans stand out, located inside the crater of an old volcano and linked to the history of salt extraction that gives the island its name.
Amílcar Cabral International Airport, located on Sal Island, is the main air gateway to the destination. From there, you can continue by road towards Santa Maria and the area where the three hotels are located.

“Totally forgot to post my review from April 2026, had a great time even though there was major confusion over the two rooms we booked, got sorted after 2 long days of our holiday. Lemon sharks etc well worth a visit...restaurants were very very good and catered for all inc vegetarians etc. Would recommend upgrading your wrist band.”See hotel
