“We stayed here back in September and honestly it was one of the biggest highlights of our trip to Tanzania/Zanzibar. Before even arriving at the hotel, the staff were incredibly helpful via email - I had lots of questions and they were able to provide prompt responses and make the process so much smoother. We were picked up from the airport and on arrival there was a picnic table and the car was fully equipped with a fridge, drinks, snacks and even binoculars. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, we were genuinely stunned - so much attention to detail and the most surreal views of the Serengeti. The food at The Savannah was great, a diverse menu with different cuisines everyday and we liked the pre set element - took away the deciding and got us to try lots of new things. A massive highlight from our stay is 100% the staff, the hotel manager Andrea was always present and everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly and made our stay feel like home. A huge shoutout to Ally and Moses who really took care of us and really made sure we enjoyed our stay, their attention to detail and care was very much appreciated. And another huge thanks to our game driver Elikana, he was absolutely amazing. We loved our drives and he made the whole experience really special. We learned so much about the Serengeti and the animals and it was so nice to see his passion. The people really made our stay wholesome to the point we were sad to leave, and we miss it all incredibly. We definitely hope to be back one day !”See hotel
