“This was our fifth stay at this wonderful hotel. Everything is excellent: the hotel, the location, the staff, the food, and the rooms. The rooms are so clean, comfortable and spacious. The last three times we have booked The Level and it is definitely worth it.There was an electrical problem during our last stay, and the restaurants and bar were closed. As a result food and drinks were served in a beautiful church, which is also a wedding venue. This church is literally next to the hotel. Staff were working so hard to provide a good service under these difficult circumstances and not only they did a great job but we got to see this beautiful venue. Breakfast was very good, specially under the circumstances, and we were even given boxes/cutlery to take food away to enjoy later! The same was arranged for The Level tapas time. Staff are excellent from the reception team to catering and housekeeping. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back!”

“Hemos estados desde el 1 de abril hasta el día 4 han tenido un problema supuestamente eléctrico el cual nos mandaron q desayunar a una iglesia el segundo día el primero en la parte trasera parecimos mendigo y después en la cena nos mandan a restaurante que hay enfrente para que nos lo paguemos y ahora dicen que la agencia nos lo devolverán creo que han tenido un problema mayor todo el hotel es perfecto personal limpieza ubicación pero en lo del tema de la comuna y cena es lo que nos has fastidiado (Translated by Google) We stayed from April 1st to the 4th. They had a supposed electrical problem, which led them to send us to have breakfast at a church on the second day. On the first day, we were seated in the back of the building, feeling like beggars. Then, for dinner, they sent us to a restaurant across the street and told us to pay for it ourselves. Now they say the agency will reimburse us. I think they've had a major problem. The rest of the hotel is perfect: staff, cleanliness, location, but the issue with the communal dining and dinner is what really bothered us.”

“A lovely hotel situated right next to Regent's Park. Because—as is typical in London—the layout is somewhat winding, you don't initially realize just how spacious the property actually is. Both the hotel itself and the guest rooms feature a pleasant, modern, yet understated design. The rooms are also typically "London-style"—not particularly large, especially the bathrooms; things can get a bit cramped if you are traveling with large luggage. Nevertheless, there is still enough space to accommodate a desk, an armchair, and an open wardrobe. Fortunately, the window can be opened a crack. Tea and coffee are provided free of charge. The staff is very friendly. And, of course, the location—right around the corner from Regent's Park—is ideal. A Tube station and an organic market are located nearby. Piccadilly Circus is reachable in approximately 15 minutes on foot. In my opinion, this hotel is definitely worth recommending.”

“Wir waren nicht das erste Mal im Hotel, welches durch nettes Design und Ausstattung und vor allem durch die zentrale Lage besticht. Das Personal ist extrem FREUDLICH und HILFSBEREIT. Dieses mal Premium-Zimmer und The Level Zimmer. Hat sich für uns sehr susgezahlt. Super Frühstück und Lounge-Erlebnis.”

“want to start this review by recognizing and thanking Amaca, who truly saved our vacation after a very bad experience with the Hopper app. We believed we had booked a hotel room, as that’s what the photos showed; however, upon arrival at the hotel, we were informed that it was actually an apartment. When we got to the apartment, we were extremely shocked. It was nothing like what we had booked and, unfortunately, it was far below the standards of a Meliá hotel. Beyond the app’s mistake, the most concerning issue was the cleanliness and overall condition in which the apartment was delivered. Despite several complaints, no one from the staff was willing to help, listen, or take any action regarding the situation. The only person who truly took the time to assist us was Amaca. She listened carefully, reviewed the photos, and understood how unpleasant the situation was. Not only did she provide a solution, but she did so with an incredible attitude—kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. The following day, she even took the time to send us an email to check that everything was okay, something no one else from the staff did. They should definitely have more people like her: proactive, empathetic, customer-focused, and truly committed to excellent service. The apartment we were initially given was a terrible experience, and honestly, I wouldn’t even rate it half a star. The rating I am giving is solely because of Amaca. The second room we were moved to is the one I am actually rating. As for the service, if it weren’t for Amaca, I would also give less than half a star—but she truly deserves full marks. The apartment we were given was a terrible experience, but thanks to Amaca, we were able to forget that bad moment. Her attitude, her smile, and her willingness to help made all the difference. As a recommendation, I strongly suggest booking only the hotel rooms at Meliá White House and avoiding the apartments. First picture is the hotel room the rest are the apartment ****In the photo of the air filter, you can clearly see the amount of dirt that has accumulated. It appears that this filter has not been changed for years, making it a potential health risk for any guest.”

“Las habitaciones dejan mucho que desear. Les falta una buena reforma...baños bastante antiguos. El servicio en recepción del check in no fue bueno... en el checkout mejoró. La ubicación eso si, es perfecta. Puedes ir caminando a un gran número de sitios.”

“Estuve alojada 3 noches en este hotel y, en general, tuve una experiencia muy buena. Lamentablemente, el primer día pasé por un momento desagradable debido a un robo. Quiero destacar que tanto en recepción como en conserjería fueron muy atentos y me ayudaron rápidamente gestionando el contacto con la policía. Mientras esperaba, consulté si podía tomar un café y muy amablemente me lo permitieron. Sin embargo, me sorprendió que nos cobraran 11,5£ por dos cafés; en una situación así, habría sido un bonito gesto ofrecerlos como cortesía, considerando el mal momento que estaba atravesando. Afortunadamente, los días siguientes fueron realmente espectaculares. La limpieza es excelente, las habitaciones son cómodas y espaciosas, y tanto el desayuno como la cena de la media pensión destacan por su calidad y variedad. Me gustaría felicitar especialmente al Sr. Herbert, quien nos atendió cada noche en la cena con una profesionalidad impecable, siempre atento a cada detalle y preocupado por nuestra experiencia. También a Pablo, en la entrada del hotel, que nos recibía cada día con una sonrisa y mucha amabilidad. Sin duda, recomiendo este hotel al 100%.”

“I was looking forward to staying here for a work trip - I usually stay in Premier Inns, which I do love, but thought maybe this place would have something a little extra. Unfortunately it didn't really. The only thing different in the room was lights that were difficult to control with a wall panel, an iron and ironing board and no large/bath size towels. I was in the room for less than 12 hours so I just managed with the two hand towels but for a 4* hotel I'd expect basics to be in place. Oh, and a minibar. £12 for a small bottle of water - no thanks! As other reviewers have said the sound proofing isn't great, I could hear people talking in the next room and I could hear someone's TV, and there was quite a lot of street noise. It was comfortable enough and I slept ok. The security deposit thing is odd. Some colleagues had to have their cards swiped for a £50 deposit, others didn't - I didn't and I would have found this quite annoying if I had. Breakfast was disappointing. There was some sort of problem with the coffee machines which kept running out of milk and coffee, needing trays emptying etc. There was a huge queue and I never did manage to get one. Otherwise very similar offer to Premier Inn. I just couldn't see any benefit to the extra cost to stay here, sorry!”

“We stayed here in late March. We had adjoining rooms, two persons in each. The rooms were nice and the beds were big and comfy. The hotel's location was excellent for access to the tube and for exploring the city. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a lot of variety. The only complaints we had were: no bathroom fans, very small/tight bathrooms, and one bathroom had an unpleasant smell perhaps coming from an adjacent room's bathroom or maybe through the plumbing.”

“Wir waren vier Nächte im Melia White House. Wichtig waren uns eine gute Lage, gute Bewertung und Sauberkeit, ein vernünftiges Frühstück und ein guter Preis. Grundsätzlich kann man sagen, dass alles erfüllt wurde. Man kommt gut zu verschiedenen Haltestellen und kann sich auch zu Fuss in Richtung Soho oder Regents Park auf den Weg machen. Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich sehr sauber, selbst die Toiletten im Empfangsbereich waren immer top. Am besten gefallen hat uns der Service und das Frühstück. Alle Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter waren sehr aufmerksam, offen und freundlich, besonders im Bereich des Frühstückraums. Wie auf Fotos und in anderen Bewertungen zu sehen, ist das Frühstück außerordentlich gut. Es gibt so viele Auswahlmöglichkeiten von süß bis salzig, dass man nicht alles in einer Mahlzeit probieren kann. Frisches Obst, verschiedenste Eiervariationen, Pfannkuchen, Avocado, full english breakfast, Cornflakes, Gebäck und noch viel mehr. Wir waren im Apartment-Bereich untergebracht, welcher offenbar als letzter Bereich noch unrenoviert ist. Der Rest des Hotels scheint von Grund auf hochwertig renoviert worden zu sein. Unsere Zimmer waren jedoch stark abgenutzt und leicht muffig und die Fenster haben stark gezogen und ließen sich nicht vollständig schließen. Die Sauberkeit war jedoch trotzdem absolut top, was uns sehr wichtig ist. Egal ob Bett oder Bad, alles war wirklich sauber und hygienisch. Auch Druck und Temperatur der Duschen waren super. Was uns abgesehen von der starken Abnutzung der Zimmer noch gestört hat ist, dass neben den Betten von beiden Zimmern keine einzige Steckdose ist und - noch absurder - kein Nachtlicht. Man muss die verschiedenen Zimmerlichter nutzen, welche ziemlich hell und ungemütlich sind und diese können nur vom Flur aus betätigt werden. Wer hat sich das ausgedacht? Wir mussten also abends alle Licher ausschalten und uns dann mit unseren Handys den Weg zum Bett leuchten, die dort dann nicht mal geladen werden konnten. Ich habe überlegt, ob ich das Hotel nun mit 3 oder 4 Sternen bewerte, habe mich jedoch für 4 entschieden. Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, für London halbwegs bezahlbar, hat einen wirklich tollen Service, ein super Buffet und ist vor allem sehr sauber! Über die Unzulänglichkeiten der Apartmentzimmer kann man da hinweg sehen oder eines der normalen oder "the Level" Zimmer buchen. Diese sind allerdings auch teurer.”
