“Absolute paradise! Finca Ratxo is an absolute paradise. I travelled solo and felt completely safe, relaxed and looked after throughout my stay. It’s wonderfully secluded, with birdsong, goats and peacocks providing the soundtrack. The perfect place to switch off, recharge and feel thoroughly pampered. The rooms are stunning, the beds incredibly comfortable, and I was obsessed with the beautiful windows and shutters! Everything is spotlessly clean, with thoughtful finer details everywhere, from flowers and herbs on tables to little touches on the towels. With a maximum of 25 rooms, it never feels crowded. I often had the pool and spa areas entirely to myself. The outdoor pool isn’t heated, but I found it wonderfully refreshing! Every member of staff was friendly, hardworking and attentive without ever disturbing the peace. I’ve read comments about slow service, but this wasn’t my experience. There’s a relaxed pace throughout the finca, which I felt was part of its charm rather than poor service. The manager is very present, personally checking in with guests at dinner and making sure everything is as it should be. The food was impeccable. Breakfast is buffet-style, while dinner offers a more curated menu featuring excellent-quality ingredients. And a special mention to the young man with the beautiful eyes who makes the BEST Frappuccino! Massages are expensive, but a real treat. Considering what comparable hotels cost, I think the overall experience is absolutely worth the money, and more. Under new management since March, the manager was refreshingly open about some initial teething problems following the takeover. I experienced no issues during my stay, and the care being put into the guest experience was evident. A couple of small suggestions: I’d love yoga to be available outside the main season, perhaps alongside sound baths. Drinking water should always be available in the spa, and the sauna had a musty smell that put me off using it. Having read other reviews, I think it’s important to choose a property that matches the holiday you want. If you’re looking for adventure, a lively atmosphere and endless activities, this probably isn’t for you. But if you want tranquillity, privacy, understated luxury and the chance to truly disconnect, it’s perfect. It’s a specialist, unique property that knows its audience. I’d recommend it to solo travellers, couples, honeymooners and anyone celebrating something special. As a travel agent, I’m always looking for exceptional places to recommend to my clients. I’ll absolutely be returning to Finca Ratxo. A truly special place that I wholeheartedly recommend!”

“Hemos estado en este hotel, de verdad que ha sido una gran experiencia. Pero que me ha dejado a mí y a mí marido encantados, ha sido la educación y la amabilidad de los empleados, del Spa, los de restaurante. Todos un encanto, me sentí muy especial. Tanto el desayuno y las hamburguesas que hemos probado ayer estaban riquísimos. Gracias a todos los empleados.”
