A place with a lot of history

On the banks of the River Rhine, Krefeld is home to a small medieval village named Linn, the location of the oldest castle in the Lower Rhine. The Haus Lange and Haus Esters buildings house the Museum of Contemporary Art. The German Textile Museum has another type of art: one of the largest collections of fabrics in the world.
