Meliá Frankfurt City

“A Special Thank You to Vanessa An Exceptional Employee Who Made All the Difference !! I have frequented Meliá several times, and I can honestly say that Vanessa was one of the most accommodating, welcoming, and genuinely exceptional front desk employees I have encountered. She deserves to be recognized and appreciated for the outstanding service she provided. Unfortunately, our stay did not begin on a positive note. Upon arriving, our initial room had construction materials scattered throughout, which was not only disappointing but also a potential safety hazard. Having recently undergone a surgical procedure, I needed a clean, safe, and comfortable environment where I could properly rest and recover. Being placed in a room in those conditions was simply unacceptable. We were subsequently moved to a room on the 10th floor, only to encounter another issue: an unpleasant sewer-like odor, along with a smell that suggested the air filters were overdue for maintenance. These experiences were particularly disappointing and made me question whether the hotel's standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and overall quality are being upheld. It is concerning to see a hotel I have previously enjoyed potentially slipping from a four-star experience to something that feels closer to three stars. However, Vanessa completely changed our experience. Despite the inconveniences, she was incredibly patient, kind, understanding, and accommodating. She went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of, arranging another room on the 11th floor, which was significantly better. Her warmth, professionalism, and willingness to help made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. Her ability to communicate in Spanish was also incredibly helpful and made the experience even more personal and comfortable. Vanessa, thank you a million times over. Your kindness, compassion, and dedication did not go unnoticed. You demonstrated what genuine hospitality should look like. You were not simply doing your job; you were making sure that guests felt heard, respected, and cared for. Employees like you are what make people want to return to a hotel. I sincerely hope management recognizes her value because employees like Vanessa are an asset to this property. In fact, she is the reason I would consider returning to Meliá. Without her exceptional intervention, my impression of this stay would have been entirely different. To the owner and management, I hope this review is taken seriously. Please pay attention to the condition of the rooms, maintenance, cleanliness, and the overall upkeep of the property. It would be unfortunate to see a hotel with so much potential allow its standards and reputation to deteriorate through neglect. A beautiful hotel means very little if the guest experience and quality of the facilities are declining. If the hotel's reputation and future matter, these issues deserve immediate attention. Vanessa, thank you again, a million times. You were the highlight of our stay, and Meliá is fortunate to have you. Please never lose the kindness and dedication you bring to your work. You made a difficult experience so much better, and that is the true meaning of hospitality.”

Danke!”
